His wonder work begins, when other veterinarians say, the only option was to put the beloved animal to sleep...

Forget popstars and footballers, THIS man is a role model for young people--and the rest of us. He has improved the lives of so many animals, and his groundbreaking treatments have the potential to help humans as well. The government should give him grants and support his work. I'd be happy for my tax dollars to be used for something like this.

Please read his autobiography. I cried several times reading it. He overcame awful bullying and told all his troubles to his animal friends on the farm. He feels he wants to always give something back to the animals and he has never forgotten any person who helped and encouraged him along the way. Wonderful man!!
WHAT A GENIUS! ! ! This man is incredible now so many people that have diabetes &our vets have a shot at walking again. How awesome! ! ! My hat goes off to him &his team. God bless.

This Vet is an Angel for animals, and I for one, would like him to work in Parliament as an animal advocate.
This man is excellent, he deserves awards for his remarkable work.
When honours are handed out, this man should be first in the queue. His work is extraordinary, a top, top, bloke, who comes across as a genuinely caring guy.
Awesome and lovely Noel. What a true blessing he is. My girl had a brain tumour removed by these guys and daily I feel gratitude for every extra day they have given us together.

I admire and love the supervet.he really cares about animals.the man is a genius the work he does with them is amazing. Should be recognized for what he has achieved it is mind blowing stuff .
I think Noel Fitzpatrick deserves an MBE he is amazing vet and person he always thinks the best way to help any injured or poorly animal to give them another extended life and for he does is out of this world he's amazing person I would love to meet this lovely man he's Awsome xxx

He is Irish so would not qualify for a knighthood , A person can only be knighted if he is a British citizen. A non-British person can be granted the equivalent honour (provided his own government permit him to accept it), but he is not able to use the title "Sir". An example is Bob Geldof, who was made KBE (= "Knight of the British Empire"), but being an Irish citizen, can't call himself Sir Bob.

People dont call Bill Gates sir bill ,or rudy giuliani sir . irish People are no different , There is no Honours system in the Irish constitution . It being a republic and all .

This wonderful human being, Noel, just takes my breath away. He is an angel, dedicating his life to helping animals and humans alike. He does it with such love, compassion and sincerity. A truly amazing man.

Latest honours and yet again no knighthood for one of the greatest men to stride the planet. Unbelievable.
Yet we are quick to bestow knighthoods on people who win a race and are never heard of again or David Cameron's hairdresser!! Its astounding that Noel has not been recognised for his outstanding work.
Knighthood is an English thing but Nobel Prize is a completely different honor.

I can't believe I've only just discovered this man and this show, I wish it were more readily available in my country--no, EVERY country. More people need to know about the breakthroughs he's making for animals (and could potentially make in humans if we were just able to work together) I encourage everyone to check out his charity the Humanimal Trust.

Noel is a superstar in the world of prosthesis. It´s such a pity that folks decry him in failures. If I went public with my failures, they´d say that´s life. Get over it.
