    I like this video a lot, thank you for making this! I was looking to get into the format somehow, I already have a dimir ninjas deck and I was planning on making a Ghost of Ramirez/Tormod deck, but I really like what you've shown here, and I really appreciate the effort you've put in this video

    I am beyond ecstatic that cadira has been getting recognition recently! I've been trying to find a slot for both fanatical devotion and orim's cure in my list but slots are tight. Your list is definitely aiming for a longer game, with more interaction pieces, but i'm not sure cadira really wants to be a midrange deck. I've been a bit hesitant on lignify and reprobation, since were likely to want to attack those players, and lignify blocks cadira really well, and reprobation can just block anything and be recast. I would rather play the ones the prevent attacking, blocking, and activated abilities.
    I don't think I would want to exclude greatsword of tyr, standard bearer, crop rotation, or cho-manno's blessing. Greatsword of tyr is the best evasion piece in the whole deck and puts in so much work, standard bearer is both protection and a pseudo-stax piece that can slow down combos, crop rotation is protection, a token, or a valueable land, like the new discover lands. Cho-mannos is also both protection and interaction. I would love to hear your input on card choices, since I can't find anyone else that has played cadira

      Thanks so much for the comment! I definitely agree that Cho-Manno's should find a place in my decklist, and I will defer to your knowledge on the others as well -- you certainly have more games under your belt with Cadira than I do!
      I'm running Lignify and Reprobation as ways to turn off Malcolm, Breeches, and Tatyova, which the Arrest-style effects can't do. While you're correct that Lignify makes attacking into the enchanted creature a bit awkward with Cadira, I think shutting down a combo piece should give us enough time to amass a bunny army by attacking the other players, and then we can use the rabbits to kill the combo player we've neutralized. That's the theory, anyway. I can definitely see why you'd run Planar Disruption, etc. instead though.

      @@ankylosaurmtg Fair. I would definitively try to find space for a few cards, i think the funeral pyre is not good, call of the conclave also seems meh, cool that its a 3/3, but 1 token for 2 mana is not a great rate. I haven't played that one though, so i don't know. Also fair enough on the reprobation and lignify, since they are great for the pod you're making. I would 100% be playing the martial impetus (or whatever the white one is called). Very good in this deck.

    So this may sound like a dumb question, but how does tatyova not kill you when you go infinite? Like if you gain all that life, don't you have to draw that many cards too and deck yourself out?

      @ankylosaurmtg  Před 6 měsíci

      Not a dumb question at all! For a really great primer on how Tatyova's combo lines work, I recommend the one written by MtG_Crash on Moxfield: www.moxfield.com/decks/xtsZ51FFS0SptMlsZ1BweA/primer

      Both! I play the 4-player version, but there are folks who play 1v1 as well. All the rules for both can be found at the PDH Home Base website: pdhhomebase.com/

      Usually, it's 4-player. Pauper Duel Commander (or PDC) is 1v1 with the same framework
