It's a well known fact that any parent that has more than one kid obviously has a favorite but the only problem with that is that of course they'll never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever reveal who it is

This is not true. People are different, and you like them for different things. In my family one is a musician, virtuoso with his instrument, happy with what he's doing, but barely makes a living. The other one is rich business man, also happy in his own way. The third is an adventurous type, does mountain climbing, skydiving, scuba diving, but again doesn't make a lot and didn't get a great education. One is funnier than the others, one is more athletic, one is more well read. Who is the favorite? Nobody.
In some families it may be true, if all of them went for similar goals and others succeeded and others didn't. And if the parents are cold materialists, of course they value the most the one who made most money. But not all families are like that.

There is something very unreal in this reality. In the fourth episode Sly and Frank were in Atlantic City and it was September 2. At that time, according to the news, Sly and Jennifer were in the middle of the divorce but in the episode they look in love as usual. It's absurd to me...
