Great song. Eddie's voice is a force of nature. Warren Zevon was a very underrated artist. Thanks for uploading.
We had a stillbirth and lost our daughter. We played this at her funeral, the Eddie version. Warren wrote such a beautiful song.❤
I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS 😢💓🤘✌️
I know your pain cause I had the same sadness...sorry for you loss.
We lost our first child to SIDS. I feel and share your pain. Memories forever. ❤
MY GRANDDAUGHTER DIED FROM BRAIN CANCER, THEY DIAGNOSED HER AT 11 MONTH OLD, MANY SURGERIES AND CHEMO AND RADATION. THE TUMORS KEPT COMING BACK AND ADVENTLY DIED AT 6 YEARS OLD. I WAS THERE WITH MY DAUGHTER THROUGH CHEMO AND RADATION AND SURGERIES. IT WAS DEVASTATING AND ABOUT KILLED ME. SO THAT MY LOSS STORY. SO PRETTY MUCH KNOW ABOUT THE PAIN AND LOSS YOU ALL FELT. IM SORRY FOR EVERYONE'S LOSS. SORRY ABOUT THE RAMBLING AND THE ALL CAPS, I CAN'T SEE VERY WELL.
RIP RIKKI MY BEAUTIFUL GRANDDAUGHTER. 😢💔❤️🩹🌹
So sorry for your loss. I’m glad the song could give u and your family some comfort in your time of pain.
When I saw this live last week I burst into tears about five strums in. I've come back to listen to it so many times now thanks to you ❤
Eddie makes any song sound perfect. I can’t wait to see them in Sacramento on the 13th!! My dream is Of the Girl to open and Setting Sun to close. 🤞🏻😀
What a song, what a voice!
He had me at accountability, we don’t hear that enough. I loved what he said about healing ♥️♥️♥️time to live, with whatever time we have.
Sending love to you, Matthew.
♥♥♥
This is the song I tell everyone I want played at my funeral
Me too. And I want to play it at each of my parents'.
It was beautiful, thanks for sharing. Your videos are fantastic. A great memory of the night. I’m crossing my fingers you caught Long Road too
I would love to see them do Excitable Boy.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thank you so much
Thanks Mike! Beauty show again tonight.
Thank you . Enjoy every sandwich
OMG perfect!
I kinda love how into calligraphy Ed is now, lol. His newest hobby! My theory is that they started using the screen just so EV can show off his new skill, LOL
I wanna start taking calligraphy classes!
@mikedziama6875 It's actually pretty cool. My sister took calligraphy classes when we were young, and her handwriting is still spectacular 40 years later. I wish I'd taken the classes too!
But isn't that simply cursive? Thought calligraphy was with a wedge shaped tip?
Sorry I'm being one of those, those that irk me on the Internet. Haha
Great video/tune and Man right here.
Thx for posting, how's the merch lines??
2 girls.....no cup.
11 months in a row Earth as warmest. The Oceans are extremely hot as amazing living coral reefs are being bleached dead. Lots of serious Tornadoes in the Midwest right now as huge floods in Houston area again.Hope FEMA and insurance can handle it but stopping it might be impossible except a science breakthrough. Vefder is talking a friend passing and sure he hugely respected Chicago Recording engineer, multi bands and record labels Steve Albini RIP Electric Audio Studios Chicago peace Oh Warren Zevon A highwood IL guy. Roy?!
any Jerome Rothenberg books you can recommend ? Thanks !
Besides his own work, he put together Poems for the Next Millennium Anthology which is the most amazing collection of poems you'll ever read. He's really well known for that.
"Technicians of the Sacred" was my dad's first big anthology of poetry beyond the West ... The third edition came out in 2017 from UC Press. And Jerome's last anthology - "The Serpent and the Fire" - comes out in October 2024. (He was working on it right up until the end.) ❤
