Veracruz Legend Comes to Queens NY on May 6th.harp

See this absolute legend on May 6th at KCA. Alberto de la Rosa will lead @tlenhuicani in the best of traditional Son Jarocho music, as part of our Cinco de Mayo celebration. They'll be joined by Ensamble Huasteco, @realdemexico, and @bfmny.

From Veracruz, Jalapa, Tlen-Huicani, which means "the singers" in the indigenous Indian language of Nahuatl, has made the beautiful "harpa jarocha" or folk harp, a centerpiece of their music.
Founded in 1973, the group was named best folk group in Mexico by the union of music and theater critics. For those of you doing the math, 2023 marks their 50th Anniversary. Help us celebrate it!
