@@bijonbrown1344 it could have been better, not saying its a bad game but i wish there was more. The story wasn’t really all there and the maps were kinda small, and the replay value on it isn’t much either at the moment, with no new game plus theres nothing to do after you platinum the game and 100% it, the performance and graphics are top notch tho, it is a fun game
@@LakotaLaneyea I agree with you,it needs more story content .I say it kinda felt like cyberpunk cause on that game I felt the story was too short for me😅.Anyways im hoping the expansion dlc will do good.
@@bijonbrown1344Ummm. .. The game completely switched developers 3 times. Dambuster Studios re-made the whole game from scratch and released it in the span of 3-4 years GLITCH FREE, after it was in developmental hell with the other studios. That is honestly no longer than most triple A titles. The old version was outdated and last gen. I can’t believe there are so many NPC’s that don’t realize this, and complain about “how long it took”.

I loved that the game takes place on the map of *Los Santos*
The fact there are people denying how realistic this game looks is crazy to me. The lighting looks so good, actually one of the best looking games recently. This soundtrack is great too

it looks better to me than dying light 2. lol DL2 looks horrible. not even next gen. dead island 2 looks good.. also, so does back 4 blood. back 4 blood for me is one of the best lookin PS5 games, the lighting is really good in night time scenes. dead island 2 is on that same level. some areas in dead island 2 *do* look very realistic, i assume the game runs on the unreal 5 engine. i dunno if the game is running any kind of ray tracing, but, in some scenes, it looks like it. i just hope the game gets some DLC and its in more wild locations, like the large underground tunnels we saw in GTA 5 for example or the mountain/desert areas and hilly/foresty areas maybe.
@@retrogamer8085 you must be one of those people mentioned above. Both games look phenomenal. And DL2 pulls it off on an open world scale which is impressive.
@@retrogamer8085 Dying light 2 doesnt look that bad imo but the important difference is DL2 is full open world, so if it looked as good as Dead Island 2 it would be much harder to run. I would like to see dlc that adds a real island, like something from first games. Its suppose to be Dead "island" after all lol
@@mandrews6282 lol im not anyone "mentioned above" - i played DL2 on the PS5 day one. was graphically abominable bro. i had buddies saying the same and they're bigger fans of DL than i am. it was literally 1080p, blur, low res textures. if they've fixed DL2 since then? good. but when it released? gabrage. dead island 2 on release day is leaps and bounds beyond DL2. people were all over utube and reddit saying the same thing, how terrible the game looked and janky performance day one.
Props to LA for bringing Dead Island 2 to real Life!!! It's almost like HELL-A

This game is crazy realistic. They did a very good job with making this look like the actual place. I live a few hours away from LA I go there all the time and it's pretty cool how identical everything looks. People still complain about the game all cuz they're mad that they can't see their reflection is a stupid mirror so they say that the game is trash.
i dont know if you can go downtown in this game, but if you cant, a dlc downtown would just be the coolest. i think how vibrant the game is and just overall aethetic is very cool.
dead island 2 and state of decay 2 are perfect examples of the perfect video game

i play gta 5 in first person mode only (except in cars, its on auto 3rd person at that point). but this looks better than gta 5 at that same pier/beach location. this feels like gta 5 with a zombie DLC or something.

in 0:18 they change the shop name into "Carousel" instead of "Merry Go-Round" but in 1:50 they use "Merry Go-Round" as cafe's name while in real life they use "Carousel"
Haha, they literally swap the name of these shops each one to other to avoid the real life place's copyright instead of change the name totally

Why are you focusing only on the beach area tho? Aren't there other areas to compare?
We needed modern Undead Nightmare for GTA5. They could sell or profitted from it more. Build bases, hordes of zombies in the city or in group like in Days Gone, settlements and outpost. It could have been amazing. Same with the OG Red Dead. Story will set right before the end of the game.

(i expect at least 1 or 2 people to get upset i said DL2 looks like a PS3 era turd, or did on release day anyway, its like u arent allowed to say something BAD about anything any more online lol. Game is phenomenal on a graphic level. The attention to detail is unreal. One of the first games to truly tap into the power of these next gen systems. A world this detailed with a bigger sandbox would be amazing.
I can't wait to see videos like this for GTA VI when it releases

@@Ezdine_G8261 Guess they didn't wanted to pay money for the whole LA. Many places are under copyright (Hollywood Sign as an example) Or they wanted to make their own city lore and stuff

Its not the best game ever made but its one im keeping downloaded til the new dead island comes out its so immersive with visuals and gore plus ive been to santa monicq twice so the game just has a special place in my library
