I loved seeing Nebraska get their A kicked. Now I can watch it over and over again.

This was great! In my humble opinion the 2002 K-State team is the best in school history, topping the 1998, 2000 and 2003 team.

2002 was great. But 2003 was better in my opinion. The way they were playing down the stretch after the Oklahoma State game they were dominating teams. Also had Cedrick Williams on the 2003 team who was a great cornerback for KSU.

Depends how you define best. 1998 was undoubtedly the most talented KState football team of all time.

@@poodook2002 was just as talented as 1998. If you are going to make it based on talent, the 1997 team has a big time say when it comes to K-State’s best team in school history. They only had one loss to the eventual national champion Nebraska Cornhuskers. They also waxed the Syracuse Orange in the Fiesta Bowl at the end of the year by 17 points even though that team had Donovan McNabb starting at quarterback, they were only able to score 18 points against that ferocious KSU defense from 1997.

Also the 1999 team has a say in the matter as they only lost 1 game but won 11 games. The 1998 and 2003 teams lost their bowl games so in my opinion it is definitely between the 1997 or 2002 teams as to who the best team was.

@@alexkain8564 I agree but I feel that 1998 Alamo Bowl loss had some psychological aspects to it as well. It was not simply a question of talent.

This K-State team outscored their last 5 conference opponents by a combined 253-30 that season.

I remember watching this game live and when Sproles fumbled early in the third quarter, right after Roberson fumbled and they scored and I thought, "no, this can't be happening.." fortunately it wasn't happening.
