Boeser has been leaps and bounds improved from last year on the forecheck, boards, and defensively than last year to the point he’s trusted in final minutes to defend leads and has made big plays in those situations. He’s on fast, but he’s very very good.

11:18 the reason coyle goes down so easily is when you are standing in the crease like that and you know the goalie is there, you don't move your legs as much to adjust to the contact for fear of stepping on your goalie, so his center is thrown off very easy.

I hope Yands doesn’t hate the Rangers and their fans but it certainly seems like he does 1:17:15 . I think the fans Really enjoyed his time here unfortunately AV wasn’t the coach to get it done and it wasn’t his fault they got shutout in games 5 and 7 at home against Tampa. Really was only 1 win away from a finals appearance. But If it weren’t for Girardi and Staal being signed to anchor deals I’m sure they would’ve found a way to bring him back.

As an Oilers fan we are playing like trash. Yes the refs have missed some calls but when we literally are relying on 5 players (top fwd line and top d pair) to do everything you arent going to win games. Despite all this the Oilers could easily have been up 3-0 if not for a game 1 breakdown and game 3 with all those missed opportunities by hitting posts when the net was available on many of those shots. Silovs was good but the Oilers werent that threatening. On top of that 28/44 shots came from those 5 players I mentioned, literally no one else is doing anything for the team and Nurse-Ceci continue to be horrible every single game and Skinner lets in a goal every time they are on the ice.

The Sam Bennett goal was good, just bruin whining. The Sam Bennett punchout of Marchand was brutal, but Marchand has 'unintentionally ' caused serious injuries pulling the same garbage, so live by the sword,.... just ask Lillgren when Marchand 'accidentally' slew footed him. Boston offence is playing up to their capabilities, their skill level is simply not up to other teams, they also got outplayed by the leafs. Bruins structure and Swayman saved them in first round. The bruins are so thin on first line players, you take out marchand and pasternak they have NOTHING.

Why is everyone wrong about why the Bennett goal was allowed?? It was because how & where swayman was sprawled, he wouldn’t have been able to push off the opposite post to get across to stop it, even if coyle wasn’t there at all. The cross check had no effect on the outcome of that play, it would’ve been a goal regardless.
I also want to add, Coyle’s back turned to the play and his skates are pointed at Swayman. A small push makes him glide into Swayman. Easier to be moved being pushed from behind than if you’re facing the player.

Nah - he is exactly the player he has always been - he just does not have centers like Bergeron , Krejchi anymore, if anything Pasta is trying to do too much to make up for those loses. He is one of the absolute best at what he does - finish - very very few can do it - don't ruin that because he can't do everything that is crazy
