  • When building an enclosure for your reptile or amphibian, should you build a bioactive enclosure with a naturalistic ecosystem? Or maybe an artificial build with everything under control? Ultimately, the decision boils down to your specific situation and your animal. Are you building for a Crested Gecko? A dart frog? A Ball Python? And is it new and needs to be quarantined and monitored? In this video, we’ll walk you through the pros and cons of bioactive and artificial enclosures so you can determine which is best for you and your reptile.

Wow, how does this page only have 4k subscribers!?! This is fantastic and you guys are GREAT at what you do!!
I have this channel as well as part time work with a farm tractor manufactures channel, and have been absolutely obsessed with the inner workings of youtube for years.
I'd love to help you in any way I can!!!

Going full bio is highly recommended to maintain it for 6month to a year and see how it does without a animal inside. I like a my non bio setup with individual potted plants, they easy to remove and replace with another if needed.

Both are great! It all comes down to what you need the specific enclosure for, right?

It's hard to say no to natural plants and a cleanup crew!
