Have you seen her recent Tiny Desk? Mind BLOWN! She is too powerful Live.
Yes!!! 🤩
Addicted to this song...so good!
I heard this song for the first time here now, and I love it. I'm also probably too old to have ever heard of Willow, but I'll look more into her. This is great.
You’ve gotta at least remember “Whip my hair” from like 14 years ago right?
@@KingDamTree No, I'm an old man. I mean really old ;-) I really wasn't aware of Willow yet.
I’ve been a fan of her for the past few years. This sounds like Fiona apple. That’s nuts.
Ugh I love it so much tho
Yes!!! I've been thinking the same since the release of Alone, so excited about this album!
Never thought about that 🤔 maybe this is why I’ve been enjoying this track so much
If Fiona and Tori Amos colab'd!
Very cool dude. Willows biggest supporter here. Thank you for recognizing her genius 🎉
You should listen to symptom of life from her aswell, its really good ;)
I did, it‘s really impressive.
0:41 the micro stank was real
“This is not pop music.”
Yes. That’s why it’s good.
Pop music is not inherently bad. 🙂
@IBHID thank you, of course not. 😊
Cool man! I would say it's 7/4, not 7/8. That "fresh" b5 reminds me to "green onions" by the FAB4!!!!
People say this sounds like Fiona Apple, but I hear Tori Amos, and more importantly this is Willow!
the Fiona Apple call is almost entirely cuz of the similar vibes to "Fast as you can"
Loved how you reproduced so accurately, you're very talented and this is such a good song!
Thank you 🤩
Youre such a talented pianist!!!
7/4 Jazz runs … native Indian chants …. Yogic E minor harmonic chants … it’s all mixed up with those references … cool … when you explore music from non western cultures there’s less rules as they are not so rigid on their expression and creative freedoms
You got my "like" at "This is not Pop music."
All my suggestions are so far off road they could be considered off grid!
Heres a lil more popular selection : the pretty reckless- kill me
Or plastic factory by Capitan Beefheart. For a slight off popular picks.
Today’s selection was a very fun listen. Beautiful voice on that girl!
I think you could call it pop. Alternative pop with jazz and experimental influences. Heavily influenced by Fiona Apple and a little by Tori Amos but less so. Both Jacob and Willow owe a lot to the chord progressions and musical stylings of Fiona Apple to be fair.
Did you just forget about Queen B lol
song of the year sorry
