Love it! The best art, in my opinion, captures what you've just mentioned! The spectrum of the human experience. I hadn't really put it into words but I think that's what draws me to Willow; the raw & beautiful expression of humanity

She’s been going at it since 8. She’s never needed money, so she doesn’t have to chase the industry and really has the freedom to do what she wants. It’s great to see someone create with creating being at the forefront rather than being a slave to the industry. Great going to her and other independent artists out there.

I'm impressed with Willow's versatility. She goes from alt pop, to pop rock, now she is experimenting on Jazz. She is amazing
Imo she was already getting into jazz in her The Anxiety project. Now she finally channels the full musicality of that genre.

@@sabrinasjourney The chord progressions, the piano licks, the odd-time signature rhythms. If you listen to classic jazz like Coltrane, Evans or Brubeck, and then you also check out modern jazz like Mononeon and Thundercat, you will see what she is taking from them.
This specific song has a little bit of rock to it, but the previous 2 ones were imo full-on jazz (or jazz pop if you may).
She also sings, idk what the genre would be but Ima say meditation/ relaxing music very beaitifully
I would not say this song is a Jazz song. I would perhaps say punk rock alternative certainly not Jazz at all.
This sound is very reminiscent of japanese pop alt rock songs where a lot of is mixed together with lots of dissonance but blends beautifully

i love how willow experiments with sound. not just the sounds in the instrumentals she uses also the sound she does with her voice. she shows how shes a gifted vocalist with range without only doing high notes

Came across this song on Tiktok recently and had no idea it was Willow. The artistry she's showing is out of this world and the sounds she's producing are fantastic and so, so unique. This song sort of reminds me of Serj Tankian and his songs "Lie Lie Lie" and "Sky Is Over" which are some old favourites of mine. I also really love how she looks here, especially her hair and the rose gold teeth. Absolutely stunning and excited to hear more!

She seriously needs to be recognized at the 'big' awards for actually great music she's churning out. It's just criminal that she is largely overlooked... I mean 'Symptom of LIfe' is on another level. And the others are turning out to be cohesive as well thus far...
When you think about it, each song has a very singular vibe. Alone has its own vibe, symptom of life, and now bigfeelings. It’s so cool
Idk sometimes being mainstream is bad. She might want to stay unique. Rap and rock back in the day hated crossing over. Sure it's more money, but they want to be true to themselves you know.
