He can change and modulate his voice according to the actor and the situation of the song(sings according to the demand of the song). Amit Kumar could sing in different voices for different actors.If you carefully listen and observe his songs,Amit Kumar exactly sounded like Kishore da when he sang for Anil Kapoor,Amitabh Bacchan,Rajesh Khanna,Sunny Deol,Sanjay Dutt, Govinda,etc.While, he sounded different when he sang for Kumar Gaurav,Jackie Shroff,Salman Khan,Shah Rukh Khan, Aditya Pancholi, Rahul Roy,Sunil Shetty, etc. Amit Kumar could very easily sound and sing like Kishore da from early days of his career(during 70's),but he didn't try to copy his father because he didn't want to became a 'copycat' or a 'clone' of Kishore Kumar. It is very tough to distinguish that who is singing these songs,Kishore Kumar or Amit Kumar. Amit Kumar had just put the soul of Kishore da in these songs.
