I'm sure it'll be fine! It's way better than open heart surgery or something like that!

Let's hope everything goes well, in my family someone also ended up in the hospital because of their heart in the past month. Good luck!!

@@ThatsMyChad I don't really understand the details but it's part of a syndrom. Everything is fine now but she will need an operation once she regained most of her strength again. 😓

Hey Chad not sure what the exact surgery youre getting is, but Im 29 and had surgery to replace my valve at 21 and then again at 26 (I had a bovine valve that calcified then I got a mechanical valve) If youre getting a similar surgery in terms of them opening up your sternum, know its going to be rough and its going to be painful but youll feel better every day. Before you know it half a year will have passed and youll feel completely normal. Best of luck!

Oh no :( Well mine isn't that drastic, thankfully. I'm getting this tool stuck into my leg and shoulder, and they're going into my heart from the two different atrial's that are being defective and they are going to I think shock or freeze the defective parts, and remove the dead tissue. The hope is that they'll stop causing me all the weakness, loss of breathe, and crazy heart palpitations that make it impossible to exist. But your story gives me hope :) Lets both keep getting healthier and healthier with our hearts!

It’s not really optional at this point sadly :/ this medicine is a very poor bandaid over a much deeper problem. And I’m tethered to whenever let’s me have it. So I want to have my freedom back haha

I hope you'll be in the hands of a carring hospital stuff, because your experience of russian's hospitals is really depends on whether you have a good nurse or a nurse that doesn't care. Sometimes they're just lovely and want to help you in any way they can and sometimes they are just all about hating the job. I hope your friend will help you to pick up the place where you'll be treated averagely well) the experience I'm describing is mostly of a free ones though, so maybe don't need to panic at all)
Im sorry if I made you worry, but I think it's important to know what is the whole spectrum of russians hospital while you're not in there and be ready, improve you're chances on being treated well, than to learn it while you're already there and can't do much about it
    Cheers) wish you the best!

Thank you for the advice! I actually had an experience in a free hospital this past summer when I got a tick and I've see what you mean haha All the private hospitals I've been too have had wonderful staff but that's probably because they make so much and aren't flooded by people constantly.
Luckily I have a good Russian support system here of friends and they are making sure it'll all be good :) But there is still hope that maybe I can get it at home!
