@@TheSeattleStitcher thank you so much, Megan! I will be going to my mother-in-law‘s, about an hour away, to join Wayne‘s family for dinner, which has been their tradition for many years. He comes from a large family, and we all bring a dish and a dessert. One of his brothers makes a big pot of gumbo and potato salad, and we enjoy our time with all the siblings, their kids, and their grandkids. ( We live in Louisiana, so gumbo is a must! 😂) They have been my rock and support since Wayne passed in 2019, and I couldn’t be more blessed and thankful. Love you so much, my friend! ❤❤

Happy Holidays and hoping you are on your way to feeling 100% better! Sending healing white light and positive thoughts your way always! Wow, your knitting just blows me away! You are truly an inspiration and I wish I lived close to you to get some knitting tips! I am currently knitting the Watch Cap by Purl Soho. Using a Debbie Bliss alpaca blend yarn! I also just ordered some Yak/Merino blend yarn from a gal on Etsy and hope to pair it with a silk/mohair for something warm and comfy! I haven’t stitched too much since my group For The Love of Stitches met a few weeks back! I have quite a few new starts planned so have to get on the ball and start getting my fabric and floss ready to go! Hoping to start The Smith Sampler the first part of the year! Please keep us posted on how you are doing! I think of you all the time and pray the angels are watching over you and your family! Oh wow, that Dracula floss is stunning!! Your sweaters & beanies are beautiful, such talent. I too got sick the weekend of jingle ball, but I felt like it was perfect for me being laid up! I loved all the meet & greets & enjoyed being a first time baller. It’s definitely hard with the unknown & especially with your child. Sending you all the positive vibes for your upcoming appt.

It makes colorwork knitting so much easier! No purling because you can knit in the round and cut the work. I love it.

Hi, Newer subbie here. I cannot remember, but in one of the more recent vids, you had shown a quaker that you had not stitched on in ages. It was in blue, and on a very light fabric. I know you do alot of quakers, so I may have to go back and see if I can find it. I just wondered what the pattern was. It was a beautiful blue thread. If you need more info, I will try to find it. I think it was a vid in november when you were showing lots of wips. Thanks. Merry Christmas!
Thank you for subscribing! Let me think I had pandemic by long dog samplers in a dark blue with a white fabric but I UFO’d that one. My round robin with the girls is in a blue, that is Quaker Garden by hello from Liz Mathews and I used dinky dyes silk in the color Twilight. It’s a soft variegated blue. I also have matter’s choice by carriage house sampling in a dark navy NPI silk. That one is on a darker fabric though.

I wasn’t a stitcher yet when Amira was born so I don’t want to do one for him and not for Amira. I did knit him a cute snow suit though and definitely plan to knit more things when I get some better news about his development 🙂💕.
