    Yard full of logs like that makes a checkbook healthy! Love the tough woman- make sure she got it if there was breakup. Tough women can be hard to live with but they're easy to love. Thanks for sharing

    I remember when we used to saw reject veneer logs...crawling up on the carriage to cut the boards off with a chainsaw. Then the company bought a vertical edger...what a difference!!
    Watching your videos brings back memories for me.
    I can almost smell the oak and cherry that we sawed all the time.
    Remember how my hands would stain black from handling the lumber.
    Great job...keep up the great videos.

    Thank you for the video. I like seeing how you-all manage the big logs. Don't understand how you keep from pushing the carriage off the rails with the log turner. I'm glad that Paul is Helping Mrs. Mccoy off-bear.I'm glad that your feeling good.Have the best day ever and don't drown!

  • @waynetharp
    @waynetharp Před 5 lety +2

    1x20s now available only at McCoys sawmill !😮
    That was a beast of a log and it sounded heavy, when it thumped being rolled. I thought the log roller was gonna make (2) 5 footers out of it for a minute there. No matter who's name is on the paperwork. It takes a Team to make the mill run smooth and you have the best one out there. The feller I sell logs to for pallet material can handle 36" logs but draws the line at 31". I sure see now...Why he doesn't want anything bigger!
    I don't know what warms me the most? Seeing the sunshine, the fact Paul is doing well and happy, or hearing you in such good spirits! Thanks for another great video. Have a Great Day!😀

    I love watching you saw logs. My mill is Wood-Mizer, but I still have to turn the logs. I like to sit back and guess when you are going to turn the logs based on what I know about sawing. On this big beautiful pine, my guess was only off one time and that time you made one more cut. This is a real nice setup you've got. Hey you'll have a great day.

      They get bigger when you're felling them, then they're smaller on the ground, then they're bigger when you're moving them, and then they get bigger on the mill! And then they get smaller and stay that way.
