I'm decidedly obsessed with the hair and makeup aspect of the business. As soon as those color palettes came on screen, I had an endorphin rush...LOLOLOL!
This was actually one of the best step by step tutorials on stage makeup that I've watched on CZcams.
Thank you for sharing the fun with us!

The eyelashes break had me giggling 😅 you're so chill I'd be a ball of nerves in that situation, how do you manage that? Anxiety/adrenaline? Love your videos!❤️

Why did she need to have red hair

      Hello,
First of all, I have red hair so if you don't like my haircolor, sorry about that. For this show in particular, I due Foscari, the director wanted red hair because he said in Venice during that time red hair was considered special. That and it went well with the color palate of the costumes.

EXIT STAGE LEFT Well they do know how to waste money on unnessacary wigs in theatre and if they wanted a person with that hair why didn't they hire 1

I totally get that and I am asked to use my own hair a lot of the time. In this theater the stage is very narrow and the lights are directly off the wings, they use a lot of side light and it's incredibly hot onstage so the singers sweat a lot. They use the wigs so the style won't fall flat by the end of a 5 hour opera night.

EXIT STAGE LEFT Well I think your hair would have survived fine because it's strong and it's the right colour and I just am starting in acting so wish I could afford these wigs, Broadway doesn't even donate wigs to struggling actors it throws them away which is a shame,

My hair holds moisture like crazy. It would look like I left a pool. :)
If you are really nice to the wig masters at the theater sometimes they can build you one in their spare time. The cost would depend on the amount of hair you need.
