I went to Charleston the year before I started watching the show. But fortunately for me I stumbled along some of the filming locations on accident. Top ten city in America btw! 😊

It was filmed in south carolina since the OBX is considered a public park so it is illegal to film movies and stuff on it

I’m not sure where they are however there is a place where they filmed called breach inlet and on the Sullivan’s island side is where they have the welcome to the outer banks sign and that bridge is the bridge that you see them go over in the first couple of scenes

The fact that this show was filmed in Charleston, SC is insulting as hell to those that live in NC. Especially those that live on the real outer banks. Plus they couldn’t even bother to get it geographically accurate. Taking a ferry to Chapel Hill? What a joke of a show.

Apparently they didn’t film in North Carolina because of the “bathroom bill” that was signed so trans men wouldn’t be in the same stall as other women. Are you flippin’ kidding me?!🙄🙄🙄
