the lyrics alone is literally a literature masterpiece, and the way it was produced like some kind of orchestral movement is just beyond music and all it's forms, im not even trying to exaggerate, bleachers especially jack is one of those rare artists who actually loves and live for what they're doing, and it clearly shows from this song.. and i absolutely love how their album ttsoosn is like an anthology of stories in a metaphor called music..
Absolutely. I find there's a lot of similarities between this album and Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" album. Maybe not in a rock sense, but in a story telling way. Also the fact that Bruce is a featured artist on this album is truly incredible.
@@Gfbackflip im a huge fan of Springsteen and the E Street band and it’s the reason why I discovered bleachers ‘cause of chinatown and how they are heavily influenced by legends like the boss, the beatles, etc.. and i just find it refreshing to see artists like them be “influenced” and “referential” yet very original by today’s modern music standards..

I've never heard another artist where you kinda just get it. The lyrics make sense of these emotions we couldn't quite put to words and it's a relief to hear. Even the more abstract imagery is very straight forward and works so so well

I Would Honestly Give Jack Everything I Own Just For Him To Sit Down And Talk Music To Me
Even from the perspective of someone with no experience in making music, this is such a beautiful series. I could look at those machines and be clueless in what they are or what they do, and Lord help me but I can't name what instruments are used in a song. But Jack just breaks the whole thing down so beautifully. I could listen to him talk about music all day.
Jack knows his music, I respect his work so so much. He has heart and soul and passion and depth. This is what music should be.
The song is so perfect in how it can mean something so specific to Jack but yet so very different but just as much meaning to me and my own life. Truly a magical masterpiece

Really wish Jack would release an album of demos/alt-mixes. Some of these alternate versions and explorations are so interesting. I think it would be a cool b-sides type record with these early versions of some of his best songs from his first 3 bleachers albums.

I hear so much in this album. I think the story is all about Jack and his parents (maybe his father more than him actually), but that's not what strikes me about these interviews. I love how he loves his muses.
