  • A scientific wonder? Low grade magic? For over 90 years (and perhaps much longer), a small patch of land outside Gold Hill has marveled and baffled all who visit. In Dispatches From the Vortex we dive into the history of the Oregon Vortex with fresh insight from recently uncovered letters written by John Litster, founder of the Vortex.
Thanks to Elena Cooper, Greg Applen, The Oregon Vortex, Ben Truwe, and the JCLS reference librarians.

This was an excellent documentary on the Oregon Vortex, and it’s every bit as mysterious as the Montana Vortex ! !

What a Cool yet Creepy vortex to be stuck in for a whopping two years,at least that was what happened to a berry picker back in 1889 his name was Louis Marez, after trying to walk out for two years he sat down, and waited for what he thought was certain death as he drifted away into a deep sleep he miraculously woke up in a local ramshackle hospital where he told his very very strange story ! !

I swear with everything I've seen and found so far it has to be a gravity well of some sort need to get some mineral samples see if there's any kind of rock or element around that could be causing my theory is a sizeable hunk of something smashed the earth a while back and got covered over and built on over the decades basically forming a gravity well around whatever unnatural element or thing that hit either way loved the short documentary keep it up just figured I'd throw my idea out there

Does a magnetic compass behave normally within the House of Mystery?

If you know about center of gravity and how a French drain works everything that is amazing to others would make more sense,
