good days, im back baby!
Is it possible you can show the template for your resume? ( I know you showed it. I just need the layout basically) 😅
Here’s my email, send me an empty email saying hi and I’ll send you my resume tmr morning because I’m out for the night. [deleted email] I’ll delete this comment the minute I receive it so be quick
Do you think you would have been able to turn your seasonal position into a more long term position, if you had wanted to continue with Apple?
Yeah, I think I said another comment that I got offered to be a full part-time employee instead of being a seasonal part-time employee. And then imagine I wanted to become a full-time they would wait until someone leaves and then I’d be promoted to full-time. If you do leave and then want to come back, it’s definitely doable at the same same Apple store but in order to do that you have to leave in good standing meaning you have to give your two weeks notification when you’re leaving and not bail out the last week or not start skipping the last days.
Thanks bbno$ !
Any time!
while me still sales assisstant (currently more at the cash register) for almost 4 years
respect the grind 💪🏼
good stuff
Appreciate it 🙂
Hi i got rejected to apple retail job can I reply again what makes another time to pic my application
How long away did you get rejected? I would wait a quarter because they hire every quarter. So I would apply early September or late late August as it gives the system a little break. Take a look at your resume and profile, that's really all you can do. If you want to send me your resume I can take a look at it. send it to me: [deleted email] :)

Do Apple do lay offs ? And do they tend to cut hours I’m looking for fulltime !?
from what i've seen they will only fire you if you are late often, they hate employees that are late but they always give you a warning before they do it, otherwise not really unless of-course you steal or curse etc... they don't cut hours, usually they need people to pick up shifts so go get that 1.5x salary. Part-time employees will 100% drop shifts and full-time can pick them up as well. hopefully that helps!
Hey teddy, dont know if you remember me. We used to play among us together when you were streaming, you gifted me among us 4 years ago too. Hope youre doing well
Hey whats up man, don't really remember as it was 4 years ago haha but im doing ok, just relaxing this summer how about you?
Tech god

Hey Theodore! This is my first time ever watching your videos and I subscribed to your channel! I have an interview for Apple tomorrow for the Seasonal Specialist position. Is that the exact same as a Sales Specialist?
First of all congrats on getting the interview my man, that’s huge! Yes, it is the exact same thing, would yours be considered part-time? Because if it is, it is exactly what I did. Also thanks for the sub man I appreciate it!!!
@@teddygetsthegold Thank you so much! I have a semester left then I graduate in December. My major is Information Technology with a minor in Computer Science. I’ve been applying for Apple for a while now because I love Apple Products and also because I would like to be more involved in Technology itself and I finally got my wish so hopefully everything works out. In the email that I received from Apple, it says “Seasonal” and that’s it
Yeah seasonal is pretty much part-time and you’re in school so makes sense. We literally have the exact same situation I started working my 2 last semesters of college. Damn IT and CS your resume will look good with Apple on it! Yeah it’s fun working there but a little more than I expected, maybe it was my location but they change management styles out of nowhere and expect highly but again it’s the biggest company in the world with the best customer experience rating so pretty expected
@@teddygetsthegold Are you an IT major as well or something different? I was hoping to find internships for Apple because I really need work experience especially for my major but I haven’t had any luck but regardless what I find, I just want to learn more about Technology.
Also, I know I’m brand new to your channel but do you have any social media? I feel like if everything works out with Apple, I may have more questions to ask
@B1GBRZY oh no I’m an accounting major, I tried getting a full time or internship at Apple but it is really hard. Something that almost worked and if you get the job I 100% recommend is when you have access to the employee computers at the store we have “Apple Directory” which is every employee in the company no matter the role and emails and teams etc… Search for what you want and email them to schedule a coffee chat or call to learn what they do, once you get an email back ask them plenty of questions and if you can send them your resume to get some feedback if it’s a good fit for you. If they say it’s a match ask if there is anything they can do to get an internship, learning experience, or job. I did that to 10 people and was able to get on a call and zoom with 2 people for around 15-30 minutes. Sadly they weren’t hiring because accounting there isn’t huge so they said there’s nothing they can do. But your CS and IT so definitely plenty of opportunities. Yeah my instagram is theo_poncet follow me and I’ll follow right back so we can message.
I just finished highschool and would like to join the team, but im not sure if I could get a job there.
You 100% can :)
I will be going to my 3rd phase interview Tuesday July 16th for a part time seasonal position. With this position, am I able to eventually move to a full time permanent position? If so, how long does that take?
Yes, so when you get your offer it usually lasts around 2 quarters. For example I was from November to April (6 months), we got extended 1 month because of low staff and I received an offer (they choose specific people based on numbers, ratings, and your attitude/enthusiasm) to become a permanent part-time but along the way you can apply or wait until they offer you full-time, or talk to your manager saying that you are interested and see where it goes from there. Hopefully that helps :) ALSO GOOD LUCK ON YOUR INTERVIEW!!!
@@teddygetsthegold just wanted to say thank you for the information! I did end up getting the offer 😀 Wanted to ask one more thing, do you know how long the training process typically is?
Congrats!!! Yes so training is 3 days of core which is learning about the company, what you’ll be doing, it’s a group training where you are in the back room all day learning. After you will do 1 week of shadowing and modules, shadowing is when you follow an employee and watch them do the job, modules is computer lessons to learn more about the products and systems. After that week you’ll do 1 week of reverse shadowing where now you sell and someone follows you and sees how you sell and will give you advice and tips afterwards. After that your all set :)
You are a developer what app did you create? Or did you have a developer account just to get iOS developer updates?
I did iOS developer but actually sent the reports and gave them ideas that they ended up implementing which they later invited me to the WWDC23
I can’t work more than 10-15 hours per week because I have another job. Would you still encourage me to apply? I’d want to work weekends and a few evenings a week. Thanks for this great video!!
Firstly I'm glad you enjoyed the video, secondly I wouldn't because when you are part-time weekends are mandatory and on top of that you have to work 2-3 days during the week. I was part-time seasonal and averagely worked around 30-35 hours a week, the least I've ever done was maybe 25 hours a week but that was rare because the weekends alone is around 20 hours. Now what you could do is apply, say you get the job explain the situation and see how they react because they are very flexible, as a colleges student many times I had to call off, take spring 2 weeks off for spring break, or call off during finals and I still left the company in "good standing". Hope that helps, feel free to reply :)
@@teddygetsthegold solid. Thank you so much! My former co-worker's husband has a management position at Apple for the last 13 years. She said he might be able to put in a good word for me. Let see what happens. I guess it all depends on their needs!
Of course and that’s awesome that you have the friend’s referral! I wish you the best!!!
Is it too soon to apply for someone who just finished high school? I have no idea of what skills mention in my resume, I got a couple since I work at mcdonalds, but I don't think I have what it takes to be talking to people for hours. Also I don't know in which position I could fit. and even then with my English communication skills I would struggle since my first language is spanish but you know what, ima give it a try.
Not at all, as long as you are 18+ you can start working at Apple, our store had 2 18 year olds so you are good. Would you want me to take a look at your resume and help you out? Don’t worry you don’t have to talk to people for hours, I mean yes but as someone who struggled with people and small talk I never thought it was too much and the conversations usually are really pleasant as you are just getting to know someone. If you want me to help you with your resume as I did with someone else, do a draft or put as much info on it as you can and send it to: tdponcet@gmail.com and for your own safety don’t put your phone number or full name just so that you feel safe with your info :)
@@teddygetsthegold I see that you really are proof of what you said in the video, interested in people and helping them with their needs, that’s amazing! Thank you sooo much, I will consider sending you my resume soon. You’re a great man
Yeah man ofc, it’s something I love doing, seeing people succeed and helping as much as I can :) shoot me an email any time and I’m here to help out! Thanks for the kind words it means a lot to me ❤️
Hey Theodore, I recently got hired at Apple in San Diego. I have a couple questions. Where do you do your training, is it at the store you were hired for?
Hey Daniel, yes training is at the store you will be working for, first 3 days are in the back and you will not be allowed on the floor. After those 3 days you do 1 week of shadowing an employee and watch what they do, after that you do 1 week of reverse shadowing where you sell and an employee watches you and helps you only if you are in a jam. Hopefully this helps :)
Also forgot but CONGRATS ON GETTING HIRED!!! Totally missed that for some reason haha but seriously that’s HUGE!
Why did you decide to quit? If you don’t mind me asking.
Well there are basically three reasons:
1) It was finals week during my last semester of college before graduating and my grades have not been the best because of the amount of hours I spent working at Apple. So the last week I wanted to not work and really study and improve my grades as Accounting at my school is very tough. Also I wanted to enjoy my last week after finals week before graduating and not have to work, wanted to celebrate with my friends and hang out with them before I leave.
2) I worked in Buffalo and after graduation I am working Full-Time in NYC so regardless the day was going to come that I quit as I only did this job to earn some money on the side
3) This job was way more than I thought mentally, this is not Apple's Fault as they are really good with mental health and giving you the day off if you need it for a break. Working at Apple is not just some random minimum wage job, its the biggest company with the most insane values, as I talked in the video, the customer experience is everything, so you really have to be invested, you can't half ass the job if you are tired. Managers are watching you're every interaction. Also sometimes I would be at the iPad or Watch table for 3-4 hours helping 5-6 people at a time without a break, Apple wants you to multi-task because they never want customers waiting around watching a transaction so I would get insane headaches. I hope reason 3 makes sense, I would re-watch the vaue part of Apple because you will get a feel of this and the picture I put on the screen. Also this doesn't mean I hated the job, I loved it and the co-workers are an actual family, I was just in Buffalo 2 days ago to move out of my house and went back to Apple to see my friends and they were all so happy to see me and kept asking how i've been, very nice people!
Thank you for your question tho it means a lot to me that people are interrested and I hope the video was good.
@@teddygetsthegoldlearn a lot, thanks 🤩
Silly question what was the shifts after training?
What do you mean by that? Hours? Role? What can you sell and your limits?
@@teddygetsthegold sorry I meant like the hours working ? Got a interview kind of excited this video is super helpful
Yeah first of all congrats man that’s huge, I loved working there! Yeah so after training you just jump right in there, part-time is around 25-30 hours a week and you can drop and pickup shifts (weekends are mandatory so that’s the only downside) but full time is 40 hours (you can’t pickup shifts but you can drop them)
Also glad you enjoyed the video :) share the channel 🫶
@@teddygetsthegold let's hope I get it tired of working for 16$ an hour lol 🤣
Is it a group interview?
There are 2 group interviews and 1 solo interview although I’ve heard some people only had 1 group interview and 1 solo interview. The group ones are very fair where they alternate who speaks first and give you time when you are first to think of your answer. The solo interview is usually with the store leader, that’s the one I recommended being a little more personal and try to get to know them a little bit :)
