    Guhantara Cave Resort is an underground cave resort located in Karnataka, India. It's a unique concept where the resort is built into the natural cave formations, providing guests with a distinctive experience of staying underground.
    Here are some key features of Guhantara Cave Resort:
    Location: Guhantara Cave Resort is situated in the village of Ramanagara, which is about 30 kilometers from Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka.
    Architecture: The resort is designed to blend with the natural surroundings. It features rooms and facilities carved into the rock formations, giving guests the feeling of being inside a cave. The architecture incorporates elements of local aesthetics and materials to create an immersive experience.
    Facilities: Despite being underground, Guhantara Cave Resort offers modern amenities and facilities. Guests can enjoy comfortable accommodations, dining options, spa services, swimming pool, indoor games, and outdoor activities. The resort often organizes adventure activities like trekking, rappelling, and ziplining for guests to explore the surrounding landscape.
    Ambiance: The resort aims to provide a serene and tranquil ambiance, allowing guests to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life. The natural rock formations and subdued lighting inside the caves contribute to a unique atmosphere, making it a popular choice for couples, families, and corporate outings alike.
    Activities: Apart from adventure sports, the resort also offers activities like pottery making, bullock cart rides, and cultural performances, providing guests with a glimpse of local traditions and crafts.
    Guhantara Cave Resort has gained popularity for its one-of-a-kind concept and has become a sought-after destination for those looking for a memorable and unconventional stay experience in India.

    It is a great place for the kids. They are really enjoying it. Most attractions have been more for adults, so the kids are very happy that this one has lots to do for them. Great to see them so happy.

    A perfect side trip from all the intense attractions in India.
    Food is always great in India. It was why America was discovered. Columbus was looking for that quicker route to India.

    Being indian i never trust indian reviews, one thing off and they they'll rate it a 1 so that is just a unreliable source here in my opinion. Beautiful family there, so joyous and outgoing🙌💝

    I think if you call them at the reception and tell em that you were told there'd be an additional queen bed, they would bring maybe two of those single size mattresses they brought in if they don't have a queen size. If they advertized that and you have that booking picture or description, they will definitely accomodate accordingly. Don't think you're being rude haha if they did say they will give an additional queen then you ask and they will bring. Better to just call the reception and speak to a manager instead of the guy carrying the bags. Looks fun!

    • @OurTinyAdventure
      @OurTinyAdventure  Před měsícem

      Absolutely 👍 We ended up doing that after dinner. They brought an extra mattress and we just put the two small ones together on the floor for the kiddos.
      They were very accommodating. Thanks for watching 🙏

    Ah, so you did experience the language barrier 😛😛? That Helpdesk person was talking to you in Hindi.....
    Dont know why Guhantara is hiring such employees! One basic qualifications for a person working in Hospitality industry sitting at Helpdesk is the ability to speak multiple languages, esp. English. Not be to harsh..... but Hindi-speakers must be put thru a training program to learn English and Kannada..... and if they refuse and expect everyone to speak in their language, they shouldnt be hired.
