WORLDS 2023: THE GRIND, THE GLORY
The 2023 League of Legends World Championship, also known as Worlds, is the pinnacle of LoL Esports competition in which the top teams from nine regions compete for the World Championship Title. Worlds begins with the Play-In Stage on October 10, and will conclude with Finals on November 19th.
PLAY-INS STAGE: OCT 10-15
GROUP STAGE: OCT 19-29
QUARTERFINALS: NOV 2-5
SEMIFINALS: NOV 11-12
FINALS: NOV 19

@@Rathial The layout of the client is still unintuitive, the double client to get into the game take years to load (while other games only need one client and you can chat in loading screen)

For me, Arcade Kai’sa isn’t a bad skin. It’s a good skin surrounded by Kai’sa’s other better skins. It’s like being the B Student in an Honor Roll class.

Arcane Kaisa has a slight delays on her attacks between them actually hitting and the visual/sound delay. if you are proficient enough on kaisa to autopilot her abilities and block out the distracting sound/visuals, that skin can be great. However, if you rely on visual or sound, you're pretty much screwed over by the skin. The difference is miniscule, but at high level, even 1 frame makes a difference.
number of stacks is especially confusing, if i didnt use the skin myself i would never know if i have 4 or 5 enemy kai'sa stacks on me, since the only difference is color

Biggest wtf moment I saw was BB’s Renekton not 2nd Eing onto Chovys Sylas. In that overextended position with no follow up potential there’s no chance of getting out. Chovy also recent popped flash so it would easy to have tracked that it was down. Most would commit to the kill or at least struggle for it while preserving summs. Instead he created more space for Chovy while Eing away and proceeds to waste flash after Chovy was a safe distance away. Hands were shaky 25:09
Did he stopped uploading more of Worlds recap after the Best Player in the game not just died, but was kicked off the tournament?
I’m an M7 almost 500k mastery Rakan main, and I am in love with seeing all the amazing plays the Rakans have been making at worlds. As a Rakan player, I love seeing them do everything I do, but so much better, and, of course, them getting praised for it.
Thanks for these since riot is so considerate that the most accessible games to watch for NA play at 3am.

So let me get this straight, 1:10 JDG beats LNG twice, then 19:40 JDG beats LNG again, I'm not sure how that means nobody should be dissapointed if its JDG vs LNG a 4th time at worlds, I wouldn't watch and just assume JDG would win tbh

Man, I really wanna like Esport but sitting through 14mins of game for First Blood is just hard. Rather Queue up my silver ass lobby and watch me and my team go 9 - 13 at the same time. Its not the intresting skill wise but more exciting to watch
I think JDG is the best team to ever play league of legends, they have so little weaknesses
They aren't. You saw it in their series against LNG. SKT T1 2015 still remains the best team in history of LoL.

I feel like worlds for any eSports should be a 3-4 year cycle like most world championship sports that are held today, it'll improve so much not just prize pools. team growth/roosters, summer and winter regional tournaments, more personal player development, in game improvements and many more

Inb my opinion Arcade Kaisa is lame yes, but Lame does not mean bad. I just think she has better skins, but Arcade Kaisa is not bad.

Flash ult + Q on Kai'sa to bring her closer to the first hit of his ult, knocking 2 instantly instead of 1

18:12 LNG didn’t use their cc perfectly. Ksante W and Naut Q were used at the same time followed by vi Q a second later, then naut ult and Vi ult were used at the same time then Ahri charm. They wasted 2 seconds of cc at least and blew everything on Aatrox. They had nothing to follow up with afterwards, so even if they had killed Aatrox, they probably would have lost the fight regardless.

Arcade Kai'Sa is that bad, feels terrible compared to even the classic one
I dont think chovy is even close to being the best player in the world, he gets solokilled by Eu midlaners in worlds. Just not that good overall, cant roam etc, not the best midlaner in the world and for sure not the best player, that would be Ruler, 369, Kanavi or maybe Keria at least till last season
its sad how boring worlds 23 is in term of champion diveristy. its a very small pool of overpowered as hell champions. Hopefully finally removing mythics and some of the busted ass items that go with them helps out
Dude, only adcs sp have small pool in meta. Jgl Top Mid have lots of potential mains since last year, the only problem is that the Pros need to have enough knowledge about those champs, and practices. Can you see they didn't even know how to itemize anything last year?
Other teams have finally practiced other picks this year and showed off some picks, go watch those and stop this delusion. These are only 2/3 of strong picks we're having this year, there're unrealized carry jgl, under-used Ivern, Vex bot as a secret counter that will completely demolish bot engages, few Ori counters that completely out range &/or zone her out of the fight all days.
Many champs don't deserve / have no business to often be in meta pretending they're free picks: Ori Aatrox Vi and few others.
