The proper cliche would be “why do good things happen to bad people?”
Right on!!!
Matthew 5
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

@@playdiscgolf1546 So. the why is still there.
"Cleanliness is next to godliness" used to hear this from the nuns in school when they'd check our heads for lice.
Number 9 was good, my Mum lost 2 babies at their birth and she used to get comfort out thinking they were angels in heaven. I knew that wasn't correct but didn't want to cause any more pain. I finally found a book about the grief around babies dying and gave it to her, it also said babies don't become angels, Mum said she hated me for giving her the book but she finished it and said she was helped. The author had lost a child at birth
@@michaelmarshall9132 because Bible Nevers says we'll be transformed into angels, but rather into the body like Jesus has when He's resurrected.
Physical and spiritual at the same time
@@michaelmarshall9132 Noone has said that babies dont go to the Father in heaven! Of course the baby is in heaven . The POINT IS that they dont turn into angels. The reason a baby goes to heaven automatically is because they are not at an age of accountability for their sins. They are not old enough to understand anything about sinning against the Lord. I hope this helps.
@@michaelmarshall9132 because scripture says it's not.
@@michaelmarshall9132 why would you believe that?
BABIES and Children UNDER the age of ACCOUNTABILITY go to Heaven with JESUS. It is a Principle from GODs Character and Jewish Rabbinical Tradition.
It’s always hard not to fall into these clichés. I use to have a co-worker in law enforcement who justified his double life as a gang member by saying “God and I have an understanding.” To which I always responded with, “I’d love to have been there for that conversation.”
Always heard this excuse from a brother who's into a business where he uses bribery to succeed.
That's the enemy tricking him
Your response to him. 😂 Perfect

"There is no such thing as innocence, only degrees of guilt."
Like Melissa Dougherty says, "It's in the Bible or something." 😄
At 4:06 you sorta addressed one of the greatest ones: “We are _all_ children of God.” No, only Christians are, and by adoption, like you pointed out.
Christians are _begotten_ by God, not adopted(1 Pet. 1:3). The "adoption" belief is based on translated bibles erroneously rendering "sonship" as "adoption". The Holy Spirit is the very DNA of God, as Peter so eloquently put it(2 Pet. 1:4). Having the Holy Spirit is what make someone His child.
Yep, Jesus even said the pharisees were of THEIR father, the devil.
But we are ALL made in God's image
@@theeternalsbeliever1779 The word υἱοθεσία is NOT "erroneously" translated as "adoption". It's translated that way because that's what it means! Apart from Christ, we were not children of God, but in Christ we have been given the right to become His children (John 1:12).
@@theeternalsbeliever1779 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" 1 Peter 1:3
What is the "again" for? Are we "begotten" twice?
Or, could it be this "begotten" "again" is better translated "brought again" as in "reminded again"?
"(brought us again) unto a lively hope by/through/unto the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..." i.e according to God's abundant mercy, He has reminded us of where our lively/living hope is: it is in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
Just a thought.

Glad am correct. 😅🤣
I saw the mispronouncing more as intentional irony. The acceptance people have that believes the clichés to be truthful and Biblical without question, also made people believe that they may have been mispronouncing cliché incorrectly. It caught one’s attention and perked the ears to listen to the video. Or, it could just be mispronounced, like many, many words I hear people use everyday.
@@JohnHH59 i love it 😂
Pronouncing words like they're ACTUALLY spelled is hilarious.
“There’s someone out there for everyone” assuming that God wants EVERYONE married. That’s not true at all. There are some called to be single. Just because you have an attraction to someone does not mean God is behind it. I should know this because i am single at 52 in spite of me wanting a wife. That is something God said “No” to. for a long time i had hard time excepting it, even fighting it… i honestly had a spiritual “temper tantrum” about it. until finally i just accepted His Will and…🤷💙🙏🏽
I think that phrase you used:
"Judge the sin, not the sinner"
used to be stated this way:
"Hate the sin, not the sinner"
I think that one is probably more appropriate.
But what the heck do I know.
For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; evil cannot remain with you. Those who brag cannot stand before your eyes, you hate all who do evil,
Tehillim (Psa) 5:5-6
God hates the sinner too. Thank God for mercy.
So are we to say, “It is unjust for God to do this”? Heaven forbid! For to Moshe He says, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will pity whom I pity.” Thus it doesn’t depend on human desires or efforts, but on God, who has mercy.
Romans (Rom) 9:14-16
@@jacobliles557 While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Yes, God hates the sinners thus the punishments, or discipline. But in our sinning, he loves us so much to die for us. He is love. He loves us but he is also just.
@@jacobliles557 yes *God* hates the sinner but we are not supposed to hate. We are to love and forgive his creation as he has forgiven us. God has a right to hate as he does it justly.
Matthew 22:39
“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”
Matthew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
A bad one “Always preach the gospel and use words only when necessary.”
This seems appropriate as a commentary on 1 Peter 2:12. Our very lives reflect who we are and a Christian is identified by his fruit (Luke 6:43-45). Words have to be in concert with behavior (Colossians 4:5-6). If one speaks the Gospel and lives as a pagan, it is hypocrisy. Behaving properly is itself a witness and can be a key to open doors. The saying does not preclude the need to speak. The usual rendering of the saying is, "Preach the gospel at all times and when necessary, use words." It is sad that many use this "clich" 😉 to support an idea that words are not necessary at all, since it seems to have a useful point.
This is a good one. Too many people don't live what they preach. We all need Jesus. If your Spirit is encouraged when you hear this one, that's good. We should strive to be holier in our actions, our heart, from the inside out. The words will come to. And probably less but more powerful.
I thought for sure there was gonna be "only God can judge me" in this list
Hate hearing that but people will find out hopefully sooner rather than later!
Well, that's sort of true in the ultimate sense, but not in the way that people who say that normally mean it! Normally people say that to brush off their sin being called out. But of course if the one calling it out is using Scripture to do so, well, that's God's Word.
Well in the end, it is true. Unfortunately sometimes pointing out another’s faults or mistakes can become hurtful.
Another thing I see in Churches, is the acceptance of gay lifestyle. Most real Churches wouldn't accept adulterous lifestyle as an acceptable lifestyle or homosexuals. Another cliche phrase is come as you are, but they don't tell people, that God doesn't want them to stay in the lifestyle of sin.
come as you are to Jesus, He doesn't hate you enough to leave you as you are
How is being gay compared to adultery? 🙃 Anyhow the churches are full of adulterers anyhow.
I'd say NO real churches would accept those lifestyles, at least not after being confronted about it with Scripture.
@@Falcon-um7vo You say: "I'd say NO real churches would accept those lifestyles, at least not after being confronted about it with Scripture" (edited).
Your comment above does not seem to appear on the public platform, although I received it personally in my inbox, so not sure if it is a technical difficulty or it is purposely hidden or "edited" from view, as it does say "edited" in brackets. Nonetheless, my reply will make little sense if it is published without the original comment from yourself which engendered it, so I have re-typed it above for clarity. There seems to be a lot of disappearing comments lately, on this 'public' site.
At any rate, if you are referring to people who commit adultery in the churches that I cited occurs ubiquitously without the same censure as homosexuality etc., because usually those issues are more closer to home and thus less likely to be condemned vehemently from the pulpit, then I would say from my own observation that heterosexual immorality is rarely highlighted.
My own mother commited adultery when I was 12 leaving my twin brother, my father and I with nothing to eat on Christmas Day whilst she dashed down the road with my younger siater aged 7 with the roast turkey to meet the man who would eventually become her second husband. 😪
In later life she was hesitant to join the Church for the very attitude you cite above, in that she knew she would not be welcome as an adulteress into any professing Christian congregation.
However, she was invited to become an elder in the Church of Scotland (Presbyterian) where she was then living, and when she asked the minister about her background re re-marrying in adulterous circumstances, she was told that they needed "real people" in the church. 🙃🤯🤔
Yes, people do encounter very "real" issues in their lives that can render them inadmissible to the Christian Church, so you seem to suggest that only "real" churches would stand up enough to say "No" to their admittance. Although once a "couple" arrives at church very few would question, as heterosexual couples tend to "blend in" more successfully that the likes of a same-sex couple.
The technical bar on adulterers will automatically exclude quite a chunk of heterosexual society, including those who are not atheist, so basically if one does not measure up to a certain level of morality one is not "elegible" to join the ranks of the Church, although a few may slip in.
At least that solves the dilemma for some people after which they can just dwell in more detached non-atheistic secular "lifestyles," whether being "confronted by Scripture" or not. I find that even Christians who are "confronted by Scripture" on a great many matters that they may personally not upkeep in their "lifestyles," either through ignorance or by denominational interpretation, will still dismiss that confrontation and continue with the very things that have been pointed out to them, especially in the area of doctrine, observance and Scriptural TRUTH.
This includes the area of many of their non-Biblical ecclesiastical man-made traditions. 😑
@@scented-leafpelargonium3366 I have no idea why my comment isn't showing up publicly, as it contains no profanity, links, or any key words that would trigger any sort of woke CZcams filter. I edited it to add the clarifying prhase, "at least not after being confronted about it with Scripture".
Anyone is welcome at our church, but once you become a member, you subject yourself to potential church discipline if you choose to live in unrepentant sin. We have removed several members over the years who committed adultery and refused to repent even after much counseling with the elders. It's the last resort, but one that is required according to Matthew 18:15-20. We are instructed not to avoid contact with them, but to ensure all contact is "redemptive" in nature, urging them to repent and be restored to fellowship. We're not to interact like everything is well with them.
So this is not some legalistic principle of requiring perfection. We all acknowledge that we are sinners saved by grace and will continue to battle the flesh until we go to be with Jesus. The issue here is a willful pattern of unrepentant sin. To keep such members in good standing is a danger to the purity of the church and to the soul of the unrepentant sinning member.
Love the deliberate missed pronunciation of 'cliché ' ! Rush Limbaugh used to do that with words to add a sense of humor to them . He would say "Public High Screwhool " or right on " Sheeduhal " ! Love the videos Todd !!!!
How about, “In order to forgive others you have to first learn to forgive yourself” 🤨
I have never heard "Jesus is my homeboy" before. Sounds totally disrespectful to me.
There was a guy at a previous church I attended who addressed God as "Dad" whenever he prayed. It always made me cringe.
Speaking of homeboy: “Here’s a book called drive by theology”
LOL
Along the theme of people becoming angels, I sometimes hear people saying when someone passes - especially a child - that “God must have needed another Angel”. Not only is that unbiblical but it’s also insulting to the grieving parents. Great video btw! Thank you!! I have heard all of these many times (and in my early walk with Christ, I may have regurgitated one or two), BUT thank the LORD I’ve grown and studied the truth of the Bible. “Jesus is my homeboy…my pal, my buddy” has to be the WORST one and makes my skin crawl. There’s one A-list celebrity who says this all the time and it’s probably why he’s still A-list and not D-List. Jesus is Holy and our Lord and Savior, not one of our mates. ✨🙌🏼
That joy vs happiness principle was crucial to the sermon today at church.
God is love is not a cliché. It's a truth! Only that non Christians distort it's meaning
Also the commonly quoted "money is the root of all evil," when the Bible actually says "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil, thereby many have pierced themselves with many sorrows." 🤑
"God hates the sin, loves the sinner."

"Clitches" ? ? ? Heh.
I was waiting to hear "God's timing is always perfect". When a new ministry, a new job, or a new relationship don't work out, it's very easy to say "Well, it wasn't God's timing" or "We didn't wait for God's timing". It is very difficult to look in the mirror and say "You know what, I (we) didn't do a good job of planning or executing that idea".
Wasn't sure after the intro, #3 for example.... But, hearing the context and clarification I completely agree and understand.
Thank you Todd!
I used to say “God helps those who helps themselves” . I used to live by that. I found out after many trials and eventually understanding the Gospel, that It translates into a “God saves those who save themselves”. And we all know what happens to those who try to save their own life, they lose it!
This is a great video. Such profound truths. Thank you.
Talk about God Pushing us to Rely on him I have congestive heart failure diabetes A bulging disk And I helped take care of my mother who is recovering from heart surgery And I thank him for all of it Because when I am weak then I am strong cause I stop relying on me and I started relying on god As a wise man once said Shall I be grateful for the good only And not the bad for the good and the bad to him who gives and takes away blessed be his name

It's crazy but each of these deserve a whole sermon to fully explain because they are so important and drive so many to confusion of who God truly is.

Hello wretched man,God bless you
Several of those were part of a series my church did last September called "Fake Verses". Another one was "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
"Saved to serve" and "Give until it hurts" also come to mind.
oof! good notation.
Please explain
@@saigoevangelises3072 Serving God is a by-product of first knowing and loving Him. The Apostle Paul’s chief desire was to know (ginosko - to know by experience) Him (Phil 3:10). We are not staff merely to serve but are family, adult-sons, redeemed to grow intimately more acquainted with the heart of the Father. The more a believer gets to know God, the more we love Him and want to serve Him.
The Apostle Paul also wrote that we are not to “give until it hurts” but rather wrote For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have (2 Cor 8:12). My point here meaning one does not give to the point, usually through emotional appeal or manipulation, where basic bills are not are not paid and we end up actually dishonoring the name of Christ.
The Salvation Army uses "saved to serve" and for them, it's appropriate!
Amen! Stick to Biblical Truth you won't go wrong! God bless you and your ministry!

I am currently writing a book on Christian myths. I have many of these included already!
Like the myth of the name "Jesus" when his given name was actually YESHUA !! 🙃
@Miller amen !!! I recently had a small argument with another Christian...I was talking to a friend about Jesus, and another man interrupted me, to point out that His name is Yeshua, because there's no "J" in the Hebrew language...I stated that I don't believe it makes a difference if we call Him Jesus or Yeshua, and gave him an example...I asked him what he calls me, when he says hi to me, and to do it, so he said, "Hi, Andy"...I told him, my real name is Andres, which you know, but you still call me "Andy", and I still answer you !! Lol...he doesn't talk to me anymore, but I still say hi to him...God bless you, my friend 😊

"God helps those who help themselves" is from Benjamin Franklin.
It is older than that. Algernon Sidney used that phrase in _Discourses Concerning Government_ in 1698. Franklin just repeated it in 1736. The idea is much older, going back even to ancient Greece and China where pagan religions taught that gods respond to the morality and efforts of man.

There are many more verses picked from their context and misused that you could have included, like: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” or “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you” or “Ask for anything in My name” or “Money is the root of all evil” or “I can do all things through Christ” or “God works all things work together for the good of those who love him.” These are all part of a “Folk Theology” that ultimately tricks many people into a religion they think is Christianity.
Title: Ten
Lol
Good points!
Cliches aren’t problem (even some of theese 10 can be any problem). Problem is within US. Within wicked human heart. Problem is people want to use and believe in cliches and schemes - instead of trust God.
Justin Peters has some videos on those topics. :)
@Ken Chilton I was in full agreement with your interpretation of the text, but until recently, I'm split. God is certainly not only with the believers during judgement of a sinning brother. The holy ghost has indwelt believers, so God is present with them when two or more are gathered. Consider also the text doesn't stop at two or three,
"And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
Matthew 18:17 KJV
Is God not present with them, when they tell it to the church? Certainly, He is omni present. I believe it to be a general assertion for gathered believers that also happens to be applied to witnesses, but not limited to witness. You cannot disprove that God is not present when two or more believers are gathered in His name.
@@med4699 "God is not certainly"? WHAT?
THE POINT IS THAT THE CONTEXT IS DISCIPLINE AND NOT PRAYER OR GOD BEING WITH US. God is in me so I dont need other saints for him to be with me. That is THE POINT. The passage is about discipline.

That's great! That's exactly what it is.
To be honest, bad things happen to everyone, and good things happen to everyone, so of course bad things happen to "good" people. Not unexpected. And the "judge the sin not the sinner" quote applies to us; you defined it from God's position, who of course judges the sinner. But a good, accurate list.
Hey! You forgot "you just need to listen to the still small voice".
Which is the devil not Jesus 😂
Here in India, I have never heard that #9 cliché.
Hey keep me in prayer for anything and everything.
'Hippie' statement...lol... I love it!
6:22 he pulled a Christian Bale here 🤣
Amen - these clitches 😀 drive me bonkers. I think honestly "God is Love" (with the implied meaning that God is not wrathful and even 'forgetful' of sin) should have been #1, because that one is extremely dangerous and what many churches stick to -- some going so far as to not even mention the three-letter 's' word. Its adherents use it as a right to sin, to trade on God's grace, to have no righteous fear of Him, and to avoid the harder parts of the Bible (if they even read it in the first place).
I've recently found myself reading John Bunyan and having a similar journey, whereas the path of sanctification leads to less sin, but also feeling worse -- as John MacArthur put at the end of one of his sermons (when Phil asked "Do you sin less as you get older"), John affirmed the positive, but said as much (paraphrasing) "yes you do sin less as you age and your sanctification progresses, but you also feel worse and worse because you come to a true knowledge of just how filthy your sin is."
Do a study for how God treats sin: God had someone stoned to death for picking up sticks on the Sabbath, killed someone for not impregnating his dead brother's wife, killed a couple for lying about how much they sold their land, killed a prophet for staying in the wrong town, etc.
True Christians should be exclaiming "oh wretched man that I am; who will save me from the body of sin? Me, the chief sinner" but the "God is Love" cliché completely obliterates that sentiment.
God bless y'all!
This will step on toes but I want to vomit when I hear people call God daddy.

“God helps those who help themselves”-Matthew Henry in his commentary on Joshua
Exact quote, “II. The place where he had this vision. It was by Jericho; in Jericho, so the word is; in it by faith and hope, though as yet he had not begun to lay siege to it; in it in thought and expectation; or in the fields of Jericho, hard by the city. There, it should seem, he was all alone, fearless of danger, because sure of the divine protection. There he was (some think) meditating and praying; and to those who are so employed God often graciously manifests himself. Or perhaps there he was to take a view of the city, to observe its fortifications, and contrive how to attack it; and perhaps he was at a loss within himself how to make his approaches, when God came and directed him. Note, God will help those that help themselves. Vigilantibus non dormientibus succurrit lex-The law succours those who watch, not those who sleep. Joshua was in his post as a general, when God came and made himself known as Generalissimo.”
@@AlexanderLongacre182 Is that the "origin" of it?
@@rlhicks1 seems to be. Matthew Henry is the one who seems to have articulated it first that way.
I’m willing to bet my pinky finger that Todd knows the correct pronunciation guys
Have listened to Drive By Theology a few times through with Dr. Metaphore.
Nooooo! Not that clip of the cheesy "Jesus is a Friend of Mine" from the 1970s?!
Hey guys I have a question. It seems more and more each day I value moral excellence in Christ through faith and repentance more than I want to do anything else. But of course at times I fail and sin at times because of my sin nature but I wanted to know about something like Jesus says we should be perfect as our Father is perfect. What does he mean by that if we, born of original sin and have a sin nature, can't be perfect? (Im not sure if this is a rhetorical question or not but I'm just trying to better my understanding on the scriptures. Thank you and God Bless!)
I think the point is that we never "settle" with our sin, thinking that it is minor enough or rare enough not to bother to confess it to the Lord.
Christ is our perfection we are perfect through Christ. When we are born again we receive his righteousness and he gives us his godly will. We grow in righteousness and desire for all that is good so yeah we must strive for excellence for that is the fruit of being in Christ. But when we are lacking and fail to the perfect standard, Christ righteousness meets that standard making you clean and perfect even in your failure. Of course don’t rely on this knowledge to just lack off and give in to evil for that mentality is what separates the sons of God and the fakes.
This is said at the end of the sermon on the mount and there’s a lot that can be said about that sermon, but one of the things that Jesus is getting at is that we all fall short of perfection - so by concluding this lengthy sermon by saying “You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect” He is referencing this idea of every man’s imperfection because of our sin nature. Expressing the idea that no one can do what Jesus just taught, aside from Jesus Himself; None are perfect, like the Father is perfect, except the Son. So if we zoom out and look at the broader gospel we can see that to be perfect we must except Jesus and the work He has completed on the cross, so that by His blood we are made perfect, as it says in Romans: “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God [the Father] through our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 5:1) and “For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.” (Romans 5:10) So He is saying that we must be perfect, but how can we do that? Well in Christ we are made perfect! “There is therefore now, no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”! (Romans 8:1) And so this doesnt mean we will never ever fall short and sin - but what Paul speaks of in Romans is that we are already made perfect because Jesus lived perfectly and then became our advocate through His death and resurrection. I hope this helps you a little and if you have any more questions lmk!
Thank you soo much guys! It really helped! God bless and enjoy your day!
@@kobsta8209 Your theology amounts to saying Jesus gave Christians the task of striving towards moral perfection because He knew it couldn't be done. It's as bogus as it is illogical. Jesus commanded it because it can be done. Literally none of the apostles ever disagreed with Jesus' demand.
GOD won't give you more than you can handle... I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.
Yes! Phil 4:13. I always reply" God wont give us more than HE can handle".
I first encountered that "God helps those who helps themselves" in Aesop's fables.
It was made famous by Ben Franklin.
I call him Abba which means papa or daddy in Hebrew very intimate saying Because he cares about every little 2nd of my life I was given up for adoption but God adopted me
Abba is a word that combines love, intimacy and at the same time the Authority that a father has over the son. Beautiful word for sure
Abba, a nice word, but you corrupted it by comparing it to daddy.
Firstly because I think that we shouldn't belittle God with nicknames like that.
He is not our little cutie pie.
He is not a daddy but a mighty Father.
Second, because the word daddy has been corrupted by perverse people so that I can no longer say it without feeling sick.
GotQuestion did something similar in a podcast. Was very chill and relaxed
pitches, hitches, kitchens
I kind of miss the clips/segments from the radio show. Is there a place I can still watch those?
Hi Hunter, we have our Wretched Radio podcast that is posted daily. You can also check out recent radio shows here: wretched.org/radio/
Anyone else need to go look up that ‘Jesus is a friend of mine’ song after?
That's why I'm here reading through the comments, I couldn't remember it's name so I can do a search 😂😂😂
Absolutely not it was awful, lol 😝
What about "do not tell God you have a big problem but tell your problem you have a big God"?
I do agree with the second part of this statement because during time we must mature spiritually to do so but why are we not allowed to pour out our hearts to God. The bible teaches that we shoul cast our wories upon Him...
I agree, there’s nothing worse than having a bad moment and someone says “God won’t give you more than you can handle”. How about you just pray for me instead of saying such nonsense 😭
"Boo that was terrible Todd" 😆 what movie is that from?
Hey Todd, or Tod, my question for you is, are those who are “dead” like the apostle Paul, human beings in heaven, or are they spiritual beings until their bodily resurrection?
What is the name of the film/series depicting Christ throughout this film seen specifically at 0:59
Hi Ethan, that is from the Visual Bible series of movies on the Gospel of Matthew.
- Ethan from Wretched.
One can be a mature Christian without knowing much theology. Conversely one can be an intelligent theologian without being a mature Christian. We must not conflate the two.
And yes, Jesus is my friend, the Bible tells me so. And yes He is also my Lord, King, and Savior.
Theology is another word for “being carnally minded” as opposed to spiritually minded, like God warned us about in the scriptures.
So happy I got away from shows and people like this. I used to think I was like people like Todd and his tribe. Proud to be awake.

Like the new edits and now I can comment
hey Todd friel. I see you got this subject from a very recent video/podcast from the brothers at Good fight ministries. may I suggest you leave some direction for viewers to their ministry at least in your description?
that would be kind
warm regards
Did he use some of their video? There is no need for him to give anyone credit if he hasnt used their content. "Clitches" are not their idea. He is doing his own teaching on it and doesnt need to give them any credit. It could have been a coincidence too that they talked about this as well. Dont be a meddling busy body.
1 Timothy 5:13
13 Besides that, they learn to be idlers, going about from house to house, and not only idlers, but also gossips and busybodies, saying what they should not.
2 Thessalonians 3:11
11 For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies.
Hey Jonny, we aren't familiar with that ministry and hadn't seen their video on the topic! We will check them out.

Most of these statements on the list I’ve never even heard before.
