This video records the front view, also called the operators' POV, of the other direction of the MBTA Blue Line: the inbound direction from Wonderland to Bowdoin. Comparing to the last video recording the outbound direction, this video was taken by a newer phone with larger frame size. Additionally, as agreed by the operator, the best view from a full-unblocked railfan window was selected.
MBTA Blue Line opened its first section back in 1904. Also called the "East Boston Tunnel", it goes under Inner Boston Harbor and connects up eastern districts across the bay. Then by mid 20th century, the line extends outbound to Revere Beach district. Till now, it connects downtown business districts and tourists sites, Logan Airport, and the coastline. It's expected to extend westwards after abandoning the original Bowdoin station, and forming a giant major line traveling across the city of Boston.
This video was taken earlier this year. To some extends, it is the MBTA video in a couple of years. Thanks to everyone for your support on my videos, and if ever possible, I will make more videos about public transit of cities other than Boston or Beijing.
Thanks for watching!
Fun fact Wood island used to be an island but was filled in with landfill, there's also Apple island and other islands that became Logan airport.

I used to stand at the front window and pretend I was driving the train when a little boy.
So long ago.
Where did all that time go....
Same here - 60+ years ago. We didn't have a car so we would ride the subway from Dorchester to Revere Beach.

Eastie here.
Mom never got her license.
It was MBTA or wait for our father to take us when he didn't feel like going to Suffolk Downs or the dogs at Wonderland.
Hop on the train at Maverick..
Great subway system back there.
One can get anywhere in Boston Metro. in minutes
I like your videos keep up the good work!
How do you get this kind of access? I’ve always wanted to do a ride along on the T
There's a window in the passenger compartment and if you're lucky it will be unobstructed so you can look out the front of the train. Examples include
The red line 1500-1700 series trains
The red line 1800s series trains

Excellent Video!! 😀 Do Another for the Green Line
Perfect song!!
This shows how short the blue line route actually is. The entire route is 4 minutes timelapsed
How do to get those clear announcements? They are amazing! 👍👍
Yeah 🤣🤣
I don’t understand why the line doesn’t continue from Bowdoin to Charles/MGH to connect with the Red Line.

i'm a bit disappointed when you reach wonderland station there's no Magical Rabbit hole leading to an imaginary land/world. etc.
