people all say the music is too shitty. That said I think overly aggressive and irritating music is pretty appropriate for an overly aggressive , savage and crazy battle. no?

D-Day actually wasn't all that impressive a battle. The beaches of Normandy were actually very lightly defended, its just been grossly over glorified as a great Allied triumph. A triumph it may have been, but the US media makes a bigger deal out of it than it really was.

Had the Japanese embassy in Washington DC had someone who could decode the transmissions from Toyko in a timely manner the Japanese Americans may not have been interned. After all the military had the info but no one of sufficient rank was around to issue a warning, and by the time it did come it was too late,

@inuyasha4889, Mainly Japanese-Americans from the West Coast region were put in those camps & most of those from other regions were not. Some Italian & German-Americans were also interned but you never hear anything about that. ~600 Japanese were deported back to Japan, mainly recent immigrants & young radical students that were indeed organizing Fifth Column activities. The Internement of our citizens should have ended in 1943, but unfortuantely didn't.

i heard that americans fought 5,000 japenese, only 17 surrendered.
i think letters of iwo jima is way better than flag of fathers in my mind my battle scenes and just better made.

no they were not! the japanese american citizens who were put in camps because america questioned their loyalty. they were very cramp and living conditions were not good and the gaurds treated them like all of them were POWS as if they had something to do with the war how do i know this? because my fathers mothers mother was put in one while her brother fought the americans the camps were horrific and demeaning to all americans. we were japanese but lived in amrica hoping to be american.

No it wouldn't becasue all the japanese POWs werer shiped to Canada same with the germans and the enternment camps the americans had for the americans of japanese were decent and they let almost all of those men enlist of regiments of their own
