    Some people's circumstances put them where they are.. The Government Really need to look into this situation and provide help in anyway they can.. in this day and age there should be no one living on the street's it's not wright!!

    The girl at the end of the clip is spot on.. homelessness is when they've been let down by the system, fallen through the cracks and treated like cattle and left to fend for themselves..you've seen the experiments been done with celebrities .but when you add mental illnesses on top of that it's a way bigger picture to comprehend

    Public Housing needs a Royal Commission. I live in public housing after waiting almost 20years on the waiting list. There are often perfectly good homes sitting empty for more than 6months & when I ask why homeless people aren't being housed, staff shrug their shoulders at me. The people who trash their homes should not be rehoused. Give homeless people a hand up & kick corrupt tenants out

      Yeah I work for a builder here in Adelaide .
      We did the Houses a year ago and they were sitting there dormant for
      A whole year . I think housing Sa needs to justify its budget every year . So new houses are built . For that reason .

      2 Housing commission properties sat for over a year empty in my street every time someone moved out it took over a year during a housing crisis for the department to get all their labourers together to defraud the government another federal budget worth of fuck around

    It was not until last night did I learn the "news" about the homeless protest in Flinders Street at the beginning of 2017, despite that I just took a tour in Melbourne in the same year just several months later after the event. Before this event, I really believe that Melbourne is the most livable city in the world, except in the potential race discrimination, which is quite globally prevalent in the "white-predominant" society. However, regardless of race and color, the problem about the homeless still deserves attention above all in highly developed countries, even inevitable in Australia.

    • @magyaradam
      @magyaradam Před rokem

      Lol the only race discrimination in Australia is anti-white racism. Are you being brain washed by propaganda?

      So the catchy disease is right around the world now when I was a kid I didn’t see 1 homeless person anywhere when one wage was enough to support a family now you need 2 incomes unless or very fortunate like me in the construction game been there done that and 2 fingers up to the conservatives who hate the working class

    So the more shelters that get built, the more charities that come online, the more the homelessness rate increases? It's almost like you create more of what you incentivize .
