  • Sick City is a documentary about those people homeless during the covid-19 lockdowns in Melbourne CBD. We set out to answer a simple question: how can you be locked down when you have nowhere to go?

Everyone just wants a place to belong. A home where loved ones miss us when we're gone. Thank you for making this so beautiful ❤️

My heart breaks for this lovely vulnerable lady who thought she was helping someone out by accepting money to take the jab so the other woman can keep her job. Now her life is ruined. Doesn't make sense that the homeless had to be locked down as well. May God bless her.xx

Yeah I feel the same as her and I’m 28 years old. Always poor giving caring people will always help those struggling the rich motherfuckers think they are always too good for every person above class. We all stupidly have to accept each other because we are all wired differently and accept different temperatures. Life should be simple but we over complicate it. Those that appreciate you and show up for your funeral it’s a big respect to those people but they will forget your impact in a weeks time, life moves on quickly. These days everybody is for themselves. Random people might give you a chance to get a job but your own family members won’t ever help you look for work or to get a job. We will always struggle in this society because everybody is greedy and always wants more and more. It’s never enough you have this country but then you want to take somebody else’s country as well? Society is broken and the world is unfair and not free that’s why I personally can’t wait to say my goodbyes. My family if they know me know I don’t and won’t ever miss this shit hole. I never wanted to come here so why would I ever want to stay. No clue what my purpose is in life. Everyday felt like a rainy day. What will or never will change. Wish I could be in a position to help everybody who is struggling but how can I even help myself or why am I so unlucky in life. Always paying the penalty for somebody else. Fuck is the point in living? Lost everything I needed to, never happy in life always judged and never left alone. Will be happy in prison and killed inside then being lost always in these streets just looking stupid to the normal people left in this world. Hard to find fun or what’s exciting anymore. We are all doomed and heartbroken in some aspects in life. Only love those few that I would legit risk my life and die hard for, will never regret my decisions. I can never smell the flowers you will one day drop off or not drop off for me. I will never see the candles burning down. So show me the love and real support whilst we are alive and can see each other. One day it will quickly become too late.
