So, quick little review about this July 4th, 2024 EZA!!! LR PHY Golden Frieza & Android 17 are INVINCIBLE on their first appearance, due to their guaranteed 101% Damage Reduction after they attack. Moreover, they will always be at a constant 51% Damage Reduction from their 3 guaranteed attacks, and a very consistent 68% Damage Reduction from 4 attacks, if you delegate a decent amount of Hidden Potential to their Additional chances. Remember, the +17% Damage Reduction can occur on a HiPo normal attack as well, so in every single turn where you have 3 procs of the HiPo Additional from your 3 guaranteed attacks, you’re very likely going to hit that fourth attack.
Moreover, many characters on the Reps of U7 team like LR INT SSBE Vegeta and LR AGL MUI Goku revive at 77% HP, which creates great synergy with this EZA LR PHY Golden Frieza & #17 who gets a guaranteed Super Attack + 70% chance to crit at 77% HP or less. This not only guarantees 68% Damage Reduction post-Attack but also serves as a fourth proc to the HiPo Additional, which could lead to a maximum of 85% Damage Reduction outside of their first appearance. Their build-up is relatively quick with the amount of normals they perform, and are very safe, considering that they’re LITERALLY INVINCIBLE on first appearance. Note that they are built to be a unit that primarily locks down Slot Two/Slot Three, but they’re given leeway in their lack of Category restrictions, and can fit on many current 2024 Top-tier Teams such as LR TEQ UI Goku’s 200% Lead, the 6th Anniversary LR’s 180% Leads, LR TEQ Orange Piccolo’s 170% Lead, DFE PHY Toppo’s 170% Lead, and if you want to consider them “Top-tier”, include INT T.O.P. Androids 17 & 18’s 200% Lead too.
All in all, this unit is a 9.5/10 release to be completely honest! I was nervous when I saw the 12 Ki Super Attack effect and before I saw THEIR VERY LAST LINE, but with the defensive numbers they will put up (I calculated a linkless, supportless, fully built-up LR PHY Golden Frieza & #17 to have somewhere above 700k DEF on a 200% Leader Skill, although I'm no Dokkan APT God), I can safely say this duo will be able to tank ALOT OF DEATH-DEALING SUPER ATTACKS, as well as dish out 20 Million ATK stats w/ insane crit build-up! I can’t wait to see their performance against EvoKen and SSBE Vegeta in the new Supreme Magnificent Battle T.O.P. stage and I’m sure they’ll double digit tank almost everything Stage 4 will throw at them (unless they miss their fourth attack). They're certainly a Top 10 LR, but I'm curious to see where they stand against LR INT Team Universe 7, which is #6 on the LR Tier List. Probably at #7, but I could honestly see someone placing them above U7 at #6.
Small mentions before ending this review, their Active Skill is pretty damn strong with guaranteed crits and nigh-invincibility which could ALL be achieved by their Turn 3, but most likely Turn 5. Also, it’s kind of funny how on the Fourth of July, Dokkan released a PARK RANGER and a TYRANNICAL RULER for an LR EZA…

There is something to be said about "must run" units. When a team has only 1 slot that ISN'T "must run,' the team is busted, lol. U7 has all 4 6 year LRs and TEQ UI as must run units...thats crazy.

Most anticipated EZA for me, and my most favorite unit in the game
the fact that these guys were in the eza banners gave me signs about their incoming eza
They seem quite good, if they're able to attack before the boss (which is 95% of the time in this meta) they are a wall against the hardest bosses. 3 guaranteed attacks translate to 51% damage reduction, and you can add 2 more attacks (the hp restricted super and the HiPo additional) as well as Tough as Nails, so they can go up to 90% dmg reduction which is very impressive.
Very happy with this year´s EZAs aside from agl Bardock 👍
And also turn 1 they have 50% damage reduction and like you mentioned they have 3 additonals, no restrictions.
They would have over 100% damage reduction which would essentially make them the second safest character turn 1

When ran next to someone with the Tough As Nails link, Frieza & 17 gets 73% damage reduction after attacking when above 77% HP and 90% when below. I guess that's what having a Frieza in the card does to a mtfk
It's cool they made them capable of being thrown anywhere at first to help correct for bad rotations then they hold down slot 3 with ease

The thing is that, as a 2nd /3rd slot unit in a turn where they link with toppo, they can potentially go up to 90% DR, and it's not that inconsistent for them to be able to do that

My phone cut off the & 17 part so I thought AGL Golden Frieza was getting an EZA and was suuuuper confused
And I pulled them free with tickets during the 6th anni. I guess it finally paid off lmao
So, if I've don the math right(which is a 50/50 shot for me), on his first turn in a very hard event could potentially LR 17 & Freiza could have at total of 135% damage reduction (I'm counting his first attack, both his built in addition, his 77% or less HP additional-depending on if it actually activates the moment you are less than 77% or if it's just activated on turn start of turn when you have less than less than 77% HP- and the hidden potential system additional). Dude's a tank as far as I can tell, but after their first turn, they're a slot 2 unit. Not a bad eza at all

Global isnt unifying operations with JP.
Its kinda like the fusion dance, you have both entities that can still operate as one even if there is a power imbalance.
However to properly fuse you have to do the dance correctly in "sync"
Like legends "Synchro gauge" = Character fusion.
We as a community shouldve pressed what they mean by "sync" as that means something culturally different to them
Also makes you wonder which side wanted the "sync" more. For all the things global complains about there has to be some similar feelings on the JP side.
What are you yapping, releases at the same time from worldwide onwards and they will fill out dead periods with the stuff that aint on global yet, not really hard to understand

They don’t need max additional though considering they are guaranteed to launch 3 attacks. Each one has the chance to proc the hidden potential attack. So a combo of add/evade with more evade would still have a great shot at proccing it.

Also guys remember the 50% dmg reduction on turn 1 is added to the other dmg reduction they get while attacking. . . . The other damage reduction goes up by more than 50% . . . .

After turn 1, if there hp is 77% or less they will have a super, they have 2 additonals built in they could have additonals in the hidden potential system. They get 17% dr per attack so given their hp is under 77% with hidden potential combo attack, and tough as nails they would have 90% dr, 17+17+17+17+17+5
