Out of the blue, my CZcams channel blew up.
In this video, I tell you why I decided to run away. And why you should do the same, whenever you have the call of Nature.
Social media allows us to grow on many and deeper levels. But since it can also disconnect us, from ourselves, and from this element we all belong: earth.
From now on, I decided to stop being a slave to social media. I quit comparing myself and my life to everyone else's virtual highlight reels. And I will keep on embracing, enjoying what internet has to teach and inspire me.
Nonetheless, here and now, my Freedom and inner peace, will always come first.

This is what I imagine the transcendentalists would have done given today's technology.
Working for others is not always rewarding or glamorous, but it gives us a sense of order and security (such as it is). I think that what you're doing is harder than having a day job. It seems like you want to go chill out in the woods and check in with people just when you feel like it(I know I would), but you also need to survive and you've taken on the responsibility 100% with no safety net. Your day isn't over at an arbitrary time or on a weekend. It seems that you need to stay quite connected to keep things going. It looks like you're just enjoying yourself in nature and thinking out loud, but there are hours of work that go into deciding what you're going to do and say, where you're going to go, what you'd like to film, shooting it all, editing, voice-overs, and then responding on social media to keep people engaged.
I'm not at all spiritual, but I am a natural introvert and understand the concept of "energy" as a function of metal state if nothing else. Being highly engaged with too many people for too long can have a draining effect. Even online, to some extent, putting your thoughts, feelings, and intentions into what's going on with other people and not getting quite enough of that back, it can leave one feeling empty and in need of a break.
It may sound odd coming from my position as someone who just randomly saw two videos on CZcams, but you don't owe us anything. If you need time away, then you don't owe society an explanation. We are not entitled to more of your thoughts and life on a regular schedule. I gather that you're sensitive to other people and feelings in general and as such, I hope that the few with whom you do choose to connect take care of you in the same way and give something back rather than only taking.
May you book a lot of things, get a lot of followers/views/sponsorships, and continue to do it on your own terms.

I quit my job 2 and a half years ago because I was getting ill, with tons of pressure, and I resigned before getting a depression or work burnout. Yes, the road less travelled. I started out on it well over 50 years ago and the end is still not in sight. There have been many side tracks which led me into the weeds but they have all been valuable learning experiences. Today, I have my hands in the soil planting trees that probably I will not see bear fruit, but the thought is enough.
The useless idiot in Russia makes us all feel insecure, even here in New Zealand, but again it's a lesson that we are vulnerable.
I would give you sanctuary and help you build a home if it could be so simple. I don't live alone and have others to consider, but we are a large tribe and someone will offer a space in nature for you. I haven't read all the coments; perhaps someone already has.
