I envy his family relationship. My family unfortunately didn't do so much for me. I fight alone my whole life, I am also 38, born in 1983 like Henry Cavill. I had poor chances to bring myself up. I managed to stay away from drugs and I managed not to be homeless. A few years ago I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, no suprise with having so much stress in life before. I gave my parents a chance to be the parents they never were when I was a child, they screw up... I am alone again battling this disease, but honestly I am ok with it. I can survive, this lesson my parents tought me when they threw me out of their house. I am amazed that he knows that his relationship to his parents is rare! Most people who have good parents take it for granted and don't understand how hard it is not to lose yourself if you don't have support or resources.
My heart goes out to you. Stay strong. There's a saying...the strongest hearts have the most scars. This is one quote I live by - Scars show you where you've been but they don't have to dictate where you're going. My motto in life.

I'm really sorry to read about that situation with your family but, trust me my friend, everything happens for a reason, always remember that God gives the hardest battles to his best soldiers. You are not alone, I'm pretty sure there are people or there is going to be people that love you, the most important thing is to don't give up! Hope your health get better soon, praying for you already and for your family as well, and I declare healing in your relationship with your family. Hopefully with God's help everything is going to end well. Pax et bonum for you my friend!

It really makes a world of difference to one's life, if you have the full support of your family. Even if your family is poor and broke, if they support you and your dreams, or whatever it is you want to do in life, you will be surely successful. Especially if you acknowledge the support that you are being given and grateful for it.
Even if it is just one family member or even just a friend, support, whether financial, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc...it really makes a huge difference.
You can be good looking, hardworking and talented, but many do not make it. If you trace the reasons why, it's because no one supported nor believed in them.
I can attest to that.
Henry is also such a good role model for not thinking it is embarrassing to profess his love for his family. For showing where his roots are.
His biggest dream is to start a family. Beautiful.
