there is so much to love in this performance! Fiona looks like she is having grand old time up there, John beaming when Kurt sang his verse, the excellent fiddler player. I could go on, but I'll just say I really enjoy this performance and it must have been really powerful to experience live! Thanks for posting it

2ndMounier I’m leaving my comment here as well as you were clearly sleeping to Kurt Vile’s Set! Kurt is a true genius song-writer and don’t compare him to Sturgill Simpson ever again!!! I don’t need to see Sturgill to Be board with his music!!! So don’t say negative thinks about Kurt ever again!!! You may have your opinion but don’t go around saying he wasted your time as I know if you payed more attention you would at least not say that and keep it to yourself!!! 2ndMounier You don’t know what you are talking about!!!!! You really don’t know Kurt Vile or his music that well if you think all he does is ripe off John Prine. I have seen him like now 27 times and as he has hints of John Prines music within some of his songs yet so different!!!! Also Kurt has one of the most unique voices and his guitar is often easily recognizable as just Kurt Vile especially his solos on songs like Goldtone, Puppet to The Man, KV Crimes, Dust Bunnies, Jesus Fever, Freak Train, Wakin on a Pretty Day, Pretty Pimpin and so many others. You just were not listing if you thought that or something. If you listen him more you will see that you were just not paying attention to his set. John Prine is a influence to Kurt Vile but yet Kurt is so unique and different as well. I really like John Prine and am not saying anything bad about John Prine’s music. Just bothers me and all big Kurt Vile fans you would think to try to roast him like this!!!!
