      Thanks mate . I might aswell have a holster for my glue gun. 👍😂. I'm trying to make the website easy navigating, size of car, wheelbase, type of chassis , wheels offset. So that newbies doesn't get confused. I've bought so many shells that don't fit etc.

      @@GarageMiniRCUK i used to deploy a lot of online shopping carts for people but the only feature i always wanted and never got was accuracy in stock numbers. information on payment methods can also be surprisingly rare and more than once i have put through a fake order just to see what they accept

    Hi, you can also buy a chassis set(for DWS) which includes longer upper and lower plates for 98mm wheelbase. I think it's a better option due to less connection points unlike the extension blocks. Thank you for making these videos. Cheers!

    I ordered a MA020 AWD, took some time to decide but I kept hearing they are the best for a RTR kit just need to find a US distributor for upgrade parts

    Nicely done. (New subscriber here as well as new Mini-z owner of AWD, FWD, RWD) Looking forward to your "shop". Separate from the great content, the ads are quite cumbersome. There were 14 for me, some coming just two minutes apart. I don't understand YT monetizing process or anything close to the "how" it happens, but just wanted to let you know that it's annoying (if you have anything to say about it!).

    For the side that only had one screw from the top, you need to drill a 1.6-1.7mm hole for a solid connection to the chassis.

      I vaguely remember doing this years ago ,I only realised after the video went up, thanks I've got a photo I will add to the video once I put it on the website . Although I think this is why they changed the design on the ma030 evo awd, I think the ma020 works best at 94/90mm, especially as ma030 evo can only be front wheel drive at 90mm .

    Very helpful video man thank you. One suggestion: The solid white background with the dark chassis on it: Doesn't work. Cameras can't handle that much dynamic range, it makes what you're doing on the car extremely difficult to see.

    Is it possible to start with a 98mm chasis for awd and then convert to 94mm or 90mm? I want to get an r34 but I’m wondering if I could swap the bodies with an AE86 and such. Issue is that it’s 98mm and I haven’t found anything about shortening the wheel base of a 98mm to anything smaller

      Depends on surface. On RCP the 90mm is better on smaller tracks. On kitchen floor I prefer 98.m m

      My bad.. I forgot to add to the description this website has had me kept too busy. I will add them in but quickly offset was 1.5 on the front narrow and wide 2 rear. It's supposed to be 1.5 but 2 looks better. As long as not hitting arch. I'll get a link to the parts up soon. The main one is the rear blocks and gears.

    Why do you need a one way differential in the front of a AWD chassis?

    • @GarageMiniRCUK
      @GarageMiniRCUK  Před 4 lety

      You don't always. It makes the car more predictable when drifting, and enables solid power delivery. But as I am going to do a Cs (counter steer) gear modification next then a front one way is essential to allow for the different front to rear ratios.

      Depends on how you run the car and surface. I use this on RCP with drift tyres. Gives me better control. I use lighter when using rubber on RCP. It depends on how you use your throttle and braking you have to play around with it. 👍🏽
