Switzerland, Walking through St Gallen

St. Gallen or Sankt Gallen in German is a beautiful old town in Switzerland. It is a lovely medieval town well-known for the Abbey of St. Gail. St. Gallen is also the capital of the Swiss canton of St. Gallen.
These wonderful images have been taken before the pandemic, in the summer of 2019.

Thanks for that, such a shame I don't recognise any of it now. I lived in St Gallen in the 1960's and loved it, but it is now changed beyond recognition. No sign of the cafe's i used to love going to.

@@EphigeniaStamate Indeed - 60 years!!!!! But my memories of working there are still clear. Shame I couldn't see The Importner Hotel in Bankgasse but I believe it has now been turned into flats.
