I absolutely love Mousetrap Mondays! It's amazing to me that these 100+ year old traps are still very effective. I love looking at the creativity that people put behind their designs. Even today people are still improving. I had no idea there were so many options when it comes to the modern day traps. Even the Made-2-Catch ones you reviewed today seem like an extremely effective trap and I like the color varieties. Keep the videos coming!

Shawn you should make a mini nuse. Make the mouse poke head through, then it trigger a trap door the nuse tightens and boom dead. I can show you how to make my version of a nuse...(i accidentally found out tieing randoms knots with one string)
The biggest problem I've seen with those traps, on your channel, is when one mouse is trapped, it can sometimes trigger one or more of the other traps.
Hey Shawn, can you try to make the video a bit brighter when you film dark objects, like the traps on the white table? It's pretty difficult to see some of the details in the dark. overexposing or setting a fix (manual) exposure for this view should do it, thx!
Very interesting. Do you have any plans of making videos about rat traps in the future? Mouse traps are all well and good. I certainly have a need for them where I'm at, but I'm sure I'm not the only person watching these videos who also would be interested in rat traps.

We had a round choker trap that had either 6 or 8 traps. It was made out of black Bakelite. I thought it was cool because it looked like a train roundhouse. Have you ever seen one with that many traps?

My grandmother solved her barn mice problem with 2 cats. Seems old school but it worked. The cats kept mice away, and became good pets afterwards

these block mousetraps where they chew over the thread to get to the food was very common at cabins in norway before 1990's

A possible down side is that the mice or other animal could disarm the trap while walking on top of the trap.

but the ones we have in norway dont have holes for the wire, but the whole wire can be dragged up so its very quick to kill cause of the good springs
