  • Wow! Everyone was sounding great this evening. If you can, listen through good speakers with excellent bass response. Received on my 80 meter loop and my Apache Labs ANAN 7000DLE mkii.

Nice, your new back ground with the color mix is pleasant to look at. I had a ton of trouble trying to update to the newest version of thetis for the HL2. As a last resort I reset windows 11 and got it to install. Take a look at the OL SDR when you have time... looks like it would be competition for the Apache Labs.

Thanks bud. The skin isn't quite finished yet, but not bad so far. Glad you got the update to work. I have a lot of patience with many things but when it comes to computers not doing what they should, I tend to loose my frigging mind lol. Thanks for the suggestion on the OL SDR. I'll check it out.

What are you using for an SDR software ?
Does it do any RTL USB SDR dongle ? Generic or is it tied to specific manufacturers ?
I am looking for a good SDR software to use with generic USB SDRs and be able to record on signal and also do DMR decoding and if it can do Digital P25 phase 2 decoding that would be awesome
I have used SDR Trunk software with my dual SDR USB box designed specifically for use on phase 2 digital P25 700 networks
    Any help is welcome
Download page links or the name of the software to get would be great
    Thanks

The software is called Thetis and it needs to be used in conjunction with a ham radio transceiver such as Apache Labs SDRs or the Hermes lite 2. The Apache Labs radios are very expensive but the Hermes lite 2 is very inexpensive. As far as receive only SDRs go, I have used the RSP2 and the free software I used with it was called SDR console. The RSP2 is discontinued but they still have similar models. Concerning all of the digital capabilities you mentioned, I do not know since I never gravitated towards that aspect of radio. Here are some of the links:
