So Samurai Pizza Cats did not do much of a success, because of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Did the people just watch the previews, and then said, "This copies off of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so we will not watch it?" I like Samurai Pizza Cats better than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and I do not consider it copying off of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles got a live action movie, but not Battle Toads (which is another show that I like better than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but alot of you hate it), and I think the live action movie for Samurai Pizza Cats will not work out well, because they have to use alot of computer work or use puppets, because they are not any humans in the show, but only talking animals.
      SPOILER ALERT:
I like Battle Toads and Samurai Pizza Cats better than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, because in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there were four turtles that were mutated by toxic ooze, and they were mutated into Leonardo, Donatello, Raphile, and Michelangelo, but Battle Toads cartoon had three people that put on the devices that turned them into Battle Toads instead of toads mutating (someone gave a good point that if it's toads mutating, they would croak while they're talking, and that's annoying) and Samurai Pizza Cats is just abnormal, and it's a show were animals already talk and can move around and can stand on two feet and do stuff that humans can do instead of them mutating.

Apparently the Japanese show was something that just couldn't be converted to English, especially back then. It was full of Japanese specific references, humor, and puns that don't translate.

I used to watch "Samurai Pizza Cats" KABB in Texas from 1996 to 1997. I also watched it on WMMP-36 in S.C. for a short-lived from late June to August 1997. It was produced by Saban, who at the time, known for their Power Rangers franchise & its PR-related shows Masked Rider, and Big Bad Beetleborgs.

They’re the Lee Lexicons (Right on). They're typin’ out lines and their fans will
    soon be smitten.
Rebecca and Jason are the leaders of the bunch.
They’re a heck of some parents, Make a heck of a lunch,
And little Amelia Rose who's never afraid (That's me)

There's her brother Nate, a Japanese language lover.
The kid gets down, down with a love-hangover.

3-2-1, Lee Lexicons are on the run
In 2019 they've been to Japan, the farthest country they know!
