It is quite a sight to see Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada on NTV's program, filled with music and songs heard here. We get to watch this program in the United States, since CJON-TV Channel 6 is now an independent station, 15 years after their disaffiliation from The CTV Television Network. Too bad we will not hear Aunt Martha's Sheep by Dick Nolan, but we will hear this song on a different CZcams Channel.

@@canadianmike711 You're right on, and this has been the case at NTV, since it is now in its 18th year Mike, but Canadian DTH service providers in Newfoundland and Labrador will have to view CTV programs on another channel.

@@erikpridemore3174 that's 19th. The first year was in 2002. I pay pre 2002, Newfoundland herald magazine. Its bigger then tv guide. It's also the only province to not get tv guide. Newfoundland is the most expensive province to Television

I am not a Newfie only a wannabe. I visited there a few years ago and fell in love with the province and its special people.
I had a scrumious Jigs dinner at a family named Joyce. A trip to the Rock I will never forget. I send my love to all Newfies.

They destroyed our fishery 1992. We never recovered those lost skills or 50,000 workers. And now the rest of our economy is going down like it did 29 years ago but without any federal support. And we don't recieve a cent from equalization payments
