Kat has a real problem with men, especially black men, in dresses. To an extent, I think that's just straight up silly transphobia, but as a white guy who was raised in a conservative family who has heard a lot of things, I'm not going to pretend that it couldn't just be about white people trying to humiliate black people. I enjoy Big Mamma's House and didn't see it as mocking black people, but I'm not in that community. I don't know what it's like, the history and how it's perceived when a white filmmaker or a studio run by white people tell a black guy to wear a dress. It could just be a premise that someone thought was potentially funny. Fair enough. But again, without being an idiot about drag or transgender people, I'm definitely not ruling out that these could be cases where a white guy thinks that black guy in a dress is funny for humiliation reasons. Context and motive are everything.
I appreciate the willingness to consider the dynamic of a person in power who might otherwise find it useful to humiliate someone to minimize the perceived threat the person poses based on the insecurities of said person in power. Be it race or gender. Historically men have done this in many ways to minimize the threat of the feminine and that gets questioned as well.
Nope… it’s not even that, Katt is hiding who he really is! pay attention to Katt, he has very feminine energy, and female tendencies & mannerisms! Let’s not forget Katt had a gay teen in his house holding him hostage.

They always say, educate a man and he’ll be a breadwinner for his family. Educate a woman and she’ll pass that on to her kids. I get it as a disabled guy who can’t find a lady, the idea of artificially going against nature and making women subservient to protect ourselves from being alone because we’re naturally more dependent. It’s always puzzled me, even within my own family, how people can be so dismissive of events that didn’t happen to them. White people show up in North America and between straight up rape and murder and infectious diseases, suddenly most of the original population are dead. I’m a huge fan of Dr King, but I don’t understand how some black people can be so fervent in a faith that they got from people who, let’s be honest, beat it into them. I had an abusive father who used religion to justify it, and it opened my eyes to oppression. I can’t identify with the black experience, but I’m not blind to it either. Perspective is everything. I say stupid, racially insensitive things all the time, but I try to be aware of it when I do and not repeat those mistakes. Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes. I’m a white guy from Canada. I don’t know what it’s like to walk out my door and wonder if the cops are going to stop me for a stupid reason and I end up shot because my pants are too baggy or I have a weave or a doo rag. But I know it happens. Most of my friends growing up weren’t white and I’ve never dated a white girl (last one was Italian) and my dad hated that. It’s horrendous growing up hearing your father trash your friends.
