- Gotta love good old Percy's Theme. It's one of those where Mike and Junior captured the essence of the character perfectly, it's very cute and playful but also has that dissonant section which shows that Percy has the tendency to get into trouble or accidents but then concludes with a nice lighthearted ending section.

Hey everyone.
Just a quick message. While I know a lot of you enjoy the recreations of O'Donnell and Campbell's legendary work for TTTE. I'd also really appreciate if you'd take a look at music I've written too. I'm looking to experiment and expand as a composer to test my range and ideas, the Thomas stuff is nostalgic and everything but the original works is what I really enjoy to work with. Still on the 80s wave at the moment as there are some sounds I still want to tackle. Here’s a playlist of all the 80s and 90s stuff. I’ve arranged them similar to how they are on SoundCloud. Enjoy!

Yes!! I was hoping this was on the list of yours to update! I've always loved the instrumentation of this theme so much, especially the bass and the melody instrument in the middle of the song.

I got bored so I decided to revisit season 1 of Thomas the tank engine after like 10 years and I’ve just fallen in love with this theme and just really reminds me of when I was much younger

Edward and Thomas worked the main line, greeting each other as they passed by. Percy puffed along the branch line. Thomas was anxious about Annie and Clarabel, but both driver and conductor promised to take good care of them.

You know, of all the themes, I feel like this one fit its character best. Not that there were any bad match-ups per se, but this just really captures Percy's cheekiness, his upbeat attitude, the fact that he does work hard, and that he's prone to mishaps.

Every few months I'll be reminded of a random theme and want to come back to find them on youtube. And I've definitely gotta hand it to you, you really nailed this one on the head. These themes improve massively with each iteration, and this sounds pretty much identical to the original song burned into my memory.

Percy was one of preferred characters because of his meekness and cheeriness. He has to put up with jackass elder siblings and a best friend that also participates in patronizing him.
This theme was ahead of its time.

You know what, I like how some of the songs have motifs to other songs. Such as the motif for Edward's theme at 0:33
This reminds me when I was 3/4 I would always watch old Thomas dvds for hours and hours is the shed we had other places but the shed was well very nice

There were fewer trains, but the passengers don't mind, they knew that the three big engines were having a lesson. Gordon, Henry, & James were Cold, Lonely, and Miserable. They wished now they hadn't been so silly.

He was eager to work but was being rather careless and not paying attention. Edward had warned Percy "Be careful on the mainline, whistle to the signalman you are there.", But Percy didn't remember to whistle. Until the busy signalman forgot him.

What makes Percy unique is that he's the only engine to be named by Sir Topham Hatt, he's the second tank engine to be introduced after Thomas, his favorite job is taking the 📨, he got to take a good luck 📦 for Mrs Kyndley's wedding in Season 5 and best of all is that he's Thomas' Best Friend and my favorite character alongside Thomas 🌟
