Not having Pentakill Morgana as in an opposing band was missed opportunity on Riots part. Also mad about Yorick not getting his hat and Mordekaiser colour scheme looking like a victorious skin while in the pentakill concert event he has a black and gold colour scheme which looked way better than his in-game skin appearance.
No Fiddlesticks as the eldritch god of dissonance... sigh.

And then there are people who thinks Rakan and Xayah shouldn't have matching skins all the time and want them to not be revolved around each other, but I'm like, what do you mean? They're the couple champs. They're meant to be matched. They have special interactions together like their recall, dance and Xayah's W. Them being matched is a thing of them. So, why do you hate?
The thing about Rakan getting a separate skin is that IG Rakan is a esports skin and *had* to be made at the request of an esports member who won worlds. It wasn't necessarily Riot's choice to make that skin without Xayah. Brave Bird Xayah was 100% Riot's choice to make and I have no clue why they didn't do a Rakan skin to go with it.
I think the phoenix shin line was to cater to China and in their culture Phoenixs are seen as feminine, BUT then again they could've made rakan a Chinese dragon to pair with Phoenix xayah?
Braum already has a "cafe cuties" skin. Its sugar rush. I mean, it obviously has this vibes with all the cookies and cupcake shield or whatever.

Ok so 2 side notes:
1. LOTS of fellas were genially angry/upset at my Top 10 Worst 2021 skins list and fellas... they're opinions. If Cafe Cutie Gwen is your favourite skin of all time, good for you, that's YOUR opinion and you are entitled to that, just like how I'm allowed to have my own opinions. If you are genuinely angry about my tastes on fictional video game character designs, that sounds a lot more like a you problem my guy.
2. OK GOOD STUFF, I got lots of things in the works, with my ultimate goal of making sure a new video is out AT LEAST once a week. I want to kinda make Friday a reliable day you'll see content from this channel. Now of course that means there wont be a video essay every week, while I am still making them. I want to experiment with some stuff and see what sticks, one of those already have, that being stream highlight videos (i'm so happy you guys have enjoyed those btw).
And of course a secret 3rd thing, Ive been working on my FNF mod for some time now, obviously only a small section of you lads will even be interested in that but its something ive been really passionate about regardless AND HOPEFULLY there will be a playable demo of it out next week :D

Please… when you design two champions for the sole purpose of being a duo, two halves of a whole, give them the same skins. IG Rakan was an exception bc it was an esports skin not an AU skinline. No Brave Phoenix Rakan was already weird since he matches with the aesthetic perfectly, even better than seraphine, but it was fair enough to give xayah and rakan an even number of skins. But then prestige Xayah with no Rakan….
As a Rell main I'm still mad she didn't get a Pentakill skin.

I don't think we're going to get a Shurima dedicated event because that country has several unrelated plotlines so it would just feel weird to do one event.
What I do like though, is that Riot is using Taliyah as connective tissue between Shurima's mini stories, it just makes sense for me since she's essentially the Shurimian traveler character and her beliefs are all about connecting with people. So yeah I don't believe Kai'sa will be the protagonist in there.
I love Yorick's gameplay and Pentakill. I got the final Pentakill III skin (which was Yorick's) yesterday and it's so disappointing. Like, the hat was the selling point! The skin is great, but it just feels so sad to play with it.
The only skin Kayn needs is simple: Candy Kayn. IT'S SO FUCKING CLEAR, BUT RIOT WON'T SEE IT!
I'm still confused why the ruination didn't give us updated looks for lucian or senna in the form of skin, if we're doing canon event skins the fact they got nothing is weird, even cheaper skins without new animations or effects would have been nice
Even though, he has an insane amount of skins, I'm surprised they didn't try 'Waspuo" skin for the Bee line. I'm also shocked we haven't gotten a Candy Kane skin for a christmas event yet but then again, they don't like that skin line if I recall.

Biggest dissapointment for me was Crime City, no legendary skins, no borders or event chromas, no event, and overall just a completely worthless skin drop outside of Akali and TF.
That, and Lunar Beast Aphelios. Hell, Lunar Beast in general.

Honestly Kayn fits so well into about any skin line that involves opposing forces. Just a few ideas: High Noon, Project, Blood Moon (dunno if there’s an opposite force there but come on about every assassin has one), Dragonmancer. And honestly, I’m surprised Kayn wasn’t the legendary for the Chaos and Order Skin like. Obviously it makes sense from a marketing point, he’s already got a legendary skin and he isn’t even that old of a champ. But imagine Guys. Imagine. The new Crystal Rose line, even though it’s fairly new. Arcade, Resistance/Battlecast.
Not to mention not having sentinel illaoi considering like her entire religious order is dedicated to protecting the serpent isles from the harrowing/ruination

They literally took fiddles occult lovecraftian tongue and expressions, and slapped on debonair zed. Zed literally stole a skin from fiddle.
He’s the champion who hasn’t gotten a skin the longest, and Riot really baited us with the first promise of a skin in 2021, and laughed in our fucking faces when they put a png of ‘tear of the goddess’ besides his name in the “upcoming skins” in 2022, mocking us.

Was mentioned in the start of the video that it wasn't about skins that could've been better but just about skin lines that didn't include certain champs. So that is probably why.

as a sett main, we need Crime City Nightmare Sett as legendary skin because debonair, crime city and cc.nightmare share the same universe and zed got a debonair skin which is legendary. so sett vs zed will be a perfect war between the bosses (real boss sett btw.)

With Brave Phoenix Xayah it should be noted that Riot specifically said they did that to balance the number of skins for both champs. Rakan getting the IG skin without Xayah was not Riot's decision. We can shit on Riot for A LOT, but that one is on the Invictus players for wanting Rakan but not Xayah. From what we know Riot tried to convince them to include Xayah but they did not want it. It is highly unlikely that we will be getting any more solo skins in the future for either character now that the balance between the skins has been restored.

i'll always think the biggest miss potential with battle academia skin line is the fact that Vel'koz is not one of the teachers, specially when he even has a taunt that is him drawing on the air plus his ult being a big lazer to give that anime vibe.
My friends and I have been holding out for Zac & Cheese and Ornn on the Cobb
1:15 when they launched the Arcana skins on PC, they also launched the Astromant skins on Wild Rift, for Soraka, Camille (again) and TF. Basically same as Arcana, but blue and not nearly as cool

Biggest missed potential for me was Sentinel Ezreal / Jarro Lightfeather. I would 100% trade this porcelain legendary skin for a Jarro Lightfeather epic skin for Ezreal. I think It would be so fun lorewise, like someone would randomly see him around the world and recognize him as Jarro Lightfeather, then he would be like "yeah I will help" just to keep the character. Definetely better then Sentinel Rengar imo.

The Yorkic senerio was like if It’d be like there was going to be a event around Noxus, and they release a new champion out of the blue, claimed they were important to noxus the entire time, and then had Swain show up to say “I am Swain” and then leave,
I just hope that all arcane characters recieve a asu/vgu, Singed has so much potential and honestly according to the law, he doesnt look like the type that would flip you around. I kinda wish they would rename singed and create a new champion called singed with a more intersting kit, more mad scientist that would go where other cientist would never. Also viktor, needs an asu, his voice lines are so enh, and his animations are old, and the model could get some love.
Imagine eBEElynn where her hate spike is a honeycomb appearing on the floor with bee butts coming out of them with their stingers as the spikes; her allure could be heart-shaped honey(IDK); empowered whiplash could be two bees flying towards the enemy with their stingers first; and last caress could be her slashing, turning into a bee, and then flying away.
