2023 South Carolina Section Championship - Single Stack

First major of the year and it was a good show. The SC staff put on an exceptional match and I am grateful for their hard work. The Blue Bullet boys traveled together which made this a really fun trip. I was a bit disappointed that my main competition backed out of the match, so I kinda skated through. There were a couple of solid SC locals though that gave me a run for my money. The first half of the match went fine. Then it started to rain hard as I shot stage 9. The range master called stop just after I finished the stage and we hid under a tent for an hour trying to stay warm and dry. When it was time to get back to shooting I was struggling to get the fire back. Happy to have earned the SS win and 1st across all locap divisions, including some big names in Production. Meep!

What was the inconsistent presentation on stage 8 that caused it to be thrown out?

I am not certain. But the rumor I heard was that a hardcover target was swapped out with a different shape hardcover target during a routine change. By the time the staff realized the target presentation changed, too many shooters had already shot and left. So there was no way to get the required re-shoots done.
