  • Roger Federer wanted to enjoy the panorama and the splendid natural landscapes that his country can offer, naturally sharing the moment with the fans through his social media account. Roger Federer completely immersed in the green of Switzerland.
During the weekend between Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 October and even in this circumstance there was no lack of gratitude and affection from his admirers. "Sunday stroll Autumn vibes - Sunday stroll Autumn vibes."
This is the comment on the photo posted by the Swiss champion on the net, which attests how the tennis player is spending the last few weeks of a forced stop at home, before returning to a court and taking a racket to begin the real rehabilitation.
Renowned operations for the 40-year-old native of Basel, who has just returned from his appearance at the Laver Cup (born from an idea of his own) and the inauguration of the Fedexpress, a tram dedicated entirely to him and his great career in the world of tennis.
The ATP Tour has updated, as almost every Monday, the international ranking of the Tour and despite the inactivity in the 2021 season finale, King Roger has incredibly gained a position: in fact, the Canadian Denis Shapovalov, due to the different points out.
He lost 6 positions and the Swiss took the opportunity to currently occupy the 14th place in the standings. With just 5 competitions disputed this year and just one in 2020, Federer is probably the player who has made the most of the situation of the frozen rankings, while still managing to remain in the top 15.
Everything will certainly change from August next season, as the ranking will return with the traditional counting method and until August (the realignment date) the Swiss will continue to lose the points earned between 2019 and 2021.
Having overcome the injury and the knee operation, the goal in 2022 remains to return as competitive as possible within the circuit and, with a ranking position that will remain good in the first part of the year, try to take away some satisfactions.
It is difficult to review the winner of 20 Grand Slam titles already at the Australian Open, at the moment only the announced participation in Halle in June is sure. Roger Federer recently inaugurated a tram named after him in his birthplace of Basel. The tram, called the 'Federer Express' or 'FedExpress' for short, has turned quite a few heads with its sleek structure and eye-catching colors.
