- Tally Hall's Internet Show was created to advertise their album, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, which is my favorite album of all time. Make sure to check out the internet show once you are finished with this video.
Thank you to Haydenisme for helping me write this video, without his help, this would not be nearly as in depth.
On a final note: Happy 39th birthday Joe Hawley, and happy belated 37th to Zubin Sedghi, and also happy early 38th to Andrew Horowitz.

What's a Tally Hall?
Not sure... 🤔
it’s a hall i think
It's a former food court
Nah, its probably a hotel or something
@@JacobConklin they literally said they named their band after a food court that is closed down now
finding new tally hall content is like finding water in a desert
Hell Yeah Hally Tall
Ikr
You might say... It's hidden in the sand
nonono, more like finding helium hydride in the wild
exactly
Tally Hall is the definition of something being too early for its time
"Sorry, you won't like this, but your kids will."
"Nothing goes right in its time" They were so real for that
@@wawawawawawawawawawawreal
the internet show should be aired on adult swim
yes
PLEASE. LET IT HAPPEN. PLEEEEEASE
Holy shit genius
Or Netflix
No, it really does not seem adult it feels like odd squad humor with more structure
Tally hall changed me. I’ve rewatched the internet show at least 17 times
Same
Damn, I had NO idea Tally Hall was having a fandom renaissance right now. Amazing.
Does this mean the band t-shirt I bought at a show where they were supporting a headliner is now a lot more valuable?? Lmao
Yes
Yes. Tally hall fans are absolutely desperate for anything new to do with the band, even if it isn't new at all
Tally Hall had the same influence on my life. I first discovered it as the ruler of everything 2020 meme, and I looked into hoping to find the full song. I searched for gold and found diamonds. They very quickly became one of my favorite bands and I genuinely really wished I had found them so much earlier.
Haha yeah, for me it was Hayden who started playing the albums while we grinded on GTA and Ruler of Everything stood out to me because of the meme. But then I started listening to the album on my own and fell in love with it.
My experience was the exact same
I hear the ミラクルミュージカル you cannot hide it from me
yes!! at 3:08 i was like omg white ball
Hey! Ross is featured on many of the tally hall songs as a background vocalist! (For example, he’s the one who sings “the wind knows, “the wind knows” at the end of Hymn For A Scarecrow)
Only hymn for a scarecrow and all of mucka blucka edit: he also sang in the apologue of hot rod duncan
I love Ross Federman
he also does the bidding babble in the bidding!!
@@LingusDaDingus he says SOLD and the sihskwussbowsghs in the bidding.
@@quadkanix actually, the “Sold!” is from Bora
It's such a shame how many songs of their have gotten popular but not really been connected *to* them. I actually discovered them only because it turned out about three of my favorite songs were all by them, and i hadn't realized for the longest time.
Lol, I assume you may have heard them from TikTok? I don't use it but I've heard that a couple Tally Hall songs have gotten really popular. Which 3 were they, I'm curious.
@@JacobConklin surprisingly not! I was big into the animation community back in like 2018 and Tally Hall got popular there. Hidden in the Sand, Turn the lights off and &, which I'm pretty sure were their most popular back then anyway. Soon after connecting the dots i ended up in the rabbit hole of Tally Hall and they're pretty much the only band from whom I've loved every song (that was a tough sentence to formulate). I actually haven't seen much other than, as you mentioned, Ruler of Everything on TikTok, but i haven't been on it for too long aha. Love the video!
I discovered them and realized as I went through Tally Hall (and Miracle Musical) just how much of their music ive heard before
the rick lax rob cantor connection was one that really shocked me when i found out
Same! I was watching the Tally Hall documentary and was thinking: "wait, the same Rick Lax from the terrible Facebook videos?"
I was expecting that "raisins, on the other hand" edit at 7:29 lol
NOOO I'm upset I didn't think about that earlier!
Finding out the Shia LaBeouf song, the Rick Lax guy, and the Ruler of Everything meme were all connected was insanity to me
Ruler of Everything led to Banana Man led to Good Day then Welcome to Tally Hall and then it snowballed from there
Lmao yeah, when I first heard about Rick Lax, I was thinking "Holy shit that's the Facebook magician guy!"
tally hall is *everywhere*
Frfr
RAISINS™
wait till he discover the boralogues...
incredibly great
The Good Day music video might be one of the greatest music videos of all time
I agree, it has so much effort to it
agreed i love it smmmmmmmmmmmmm
All of the music videos they have are great and so well done
Strong statement but I'd say it's up there, but Closer by Nine Inch Nails has to beat it
I’m happy to see any and all appreciation for the Death Request episode lmao it’s great
For real!! Best T.H.I.S episode for sure!!
As someone leg deep in their tally hall obsession, once it gets into your life, its staying right there. I decorated half my room in tally hall stuff/ paper decorations and I love them like day 1 after months
"I'm sure you've seen this meme by now" "no- we are here cause we want tally hall not people using their music" some random annoying tally hall fan-2021
Lol, I put that part in to appeal to my friends who aren't Tally Hall fans
the tally hall internet show is one of my favorite mini-series
Im so happy tally hall and all the band members are finally getting the recognition they deserve
I wouldn't let my future child on youtube but I DEFINITELY WOULD SHOW THEM TALLY HALL
TALLY HALL CONTENT LETS GOOO
That's my goal, to create more Tally Hall content so the community just has more content to watch in general
@@JacobConklin i cannot thank you enough
Woah if you are Joe Hawley from “Your Mother is a Basketball” and I am also Joe Hawley from “Your Mother is a Basketball” then who is the real Joe Hawley?
@@yourmotherisabasketball2335 Are there any other Joe Hawleys from "Your Mother Is A Basketball" I should know about?!?!
@@infectioustomfoolery Who knows how many more there are out there? "Into the Hawleyverse"
2:03 dear god it’s all zubin
You're the first person to mention that lmao
My first exposure to Tally Hall, as a Gen Z kid, was Happy Monster Band
i love how when robb starts singing tow wuv, he is almost rizzing up the camera
Cool video! I first discovered Tally Hall through the Ruler of Everything meme, and at first i disliked the song, but then i realized that the only reason why i kept watching every single ROE meme that i could find was because of the song itself. And then a channel called Silvagunner made a Tally Hall "takeover" and i went from "i like this band, but they're not my type" to "thank you Tally Hall for my life" in just one day.
The Tally Hall Internet Show gives me huge Adult Swim vibes, and i hope that it gets a season 2 someday, some of the jokes were ahead of its time.
Haha yeah, the day I watched the Tally Hall documentary I had a similar transition from "I'm kinda interested in this" to "favorite band of all time"
this is incredibly underrated
Wow!!! This is literally amazing!!! As I have been a tally hall fan for almost 3 years, I’m so happy to see you post this from your shared interest!!! Super fun! (Go Sun Devils by the way!!!)
I found an old skit that Danny Gonzalez appears in that uses Ruler of Everything. It also uses Roundabout as its end credits music 4 years before JoJo.
Bro deadass? Send the link if you still have it lol
@@JacobConklin This version is the one that isn't split into 2 parts: czcams.com/video/54BAqYnripo/video.html
Ruler of Everything briefly appears at 1:30
This is so underrated, I I didn’t know that much about them until now!
There is so much Tally Hall lore that I didnt even cover in this video. And even though its 3 hours long, I recommend Just Jargon's documentary on Tally Hall (Not only is the video good, but Jargon watched this video and helped share it, he's a very based guy)
@@JacobConklin I’ll check it out thank you!
THANK U FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTION
really very good video. I'm Brazilian and I managed to have a great understanding thanks to the subtitles, as there aren't many Brazilian videos about the band
The same chicken costume as Jerk Chicken also appears in the music video for In A Dream by Skybox, who toured alongside Tally Hall. I know they aren’t but I like to imagine they’re the same character.
2:03 just zubin
exactly
When she marvelous Marvin's on my mechanical machine
Turn the lights off is my favourite song
It was mine too! Before I really started listening to Tally Hall, Hayden introduced me to Turn the Lights Off and Banana Man. It's still one of my favorites, but I think I've started to like Two Wuv and Cannibal more.
Mine is Two Wuv
Mine is Spring & A Storm
the welcome to tally hall video is like my favourite thing on youtube
This is marvelous!!!
just like marvin and his mechanical museum
this was such an amazing video, you did a really good job!!
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm really happy with how it came out.
The fact that your channel and videos don't have many views is sad your demeanor knowledge editing and mic are great
Haha thanks, I would probably have a bigger audience if I uploaded more often. I don't really get inspiration to make videos much, but I'm happy to see that this video in particular has reached so many people. 30 thousand views!
The reason hidden in the sand is so popular on tiktok was likely caused by its earlier use as a popular animation meme/amv song in the animation community
Dont forget 85% of all buses are shreks offenders
Im a major tally hall fan thank you for more eye candy facts
The white ball instrumental is just edging us
T.H.I.S. was fantastic. It would be awesome to see a similar video on the BORALOGUE series.
I’m going to put on a rainbow tie and become tally
2:53 heyyy ...... i became odssed with tally hall with that 3h doucumentary
Just Jargon is pretty sick, I like his other content too, and I really appreciate him sharing this video when it first came out.
This was very well done.
man how come you dont have more subscribers you make very good content especially about my favorite band
Haha thanks, it means a lot.
Idk man, I've only made three videos in this sort of style, and also these kinds of videos take a long ass time for me to make so I havent been able to make a lot of them
Tally hall has 309k subs and it's really a shame. They need more than that.
Hi everyone, I came here to tell everyone that I would like to be a Chair.
🪑
LET'S GOOOOOO
I have been listening to tally hall for 2 years now,I found them trought fnaf animations with the song hidden in the sand then I only heard the bidding in spotify after I started hearing all of their song and the 2 albums, and now I'm making a animation with my favorite song
(I will probably make a other with the song welcome to tally hall with the members and all)
(The one I'm making right now is with the song ruler of everything with a oc)
ok so uhm update im doing right now a animation of good day and the way i got into tally hall is wrong i actually got into them because of a video in those random youtube generated playlist (i have heard hidden in the sand before but i never searched the band) the video was the mind electric but different or something so after that i started listening to the bidding and now im a fan of them so yeah
you can see some wips of my animation in my channel :)
this guy needs more subs.
good video
Good comment 👍
MY GOD
Yes omfg this is the peak of internet humor
Ross actually sings in The Bidding hehe
I first found tally hall in a youtube shorts loop, (the song was the bidding), but I didn't really like it at first. Then the ruler of everything meme happened and now I'm in love with tally hall
i love tally hall
tally hall made everything.
Cool!!
WHOOOOOOOOOO
HECK YEAH TALLY HALL
When you mentioned Hidden in the Sand being popular on TikTok, I thought "Same with The Bidding!"
Why is Zubin so majestic, wth? 15:12
yeah
two wuv is the best song to me (:
Hell yeah, Two Wuv is still my favorite song!

11:27 Taken for a ride too, but we don't talk about that one.

I was surprised you didn't talk about fifteen seconds of bora
Lol I guess I just forgot about it when I was writing the script
When is tally hall 2
I LOVE TALLY HALL SO MUCHHHHHHHH (ross is cool)
Did you listen through the entire Marvin's album before they noticed it was Tally Hall, coz if so, how did they not pick up that it was them after Welcome To Tally Hall
No, I think you've misunderstood what I mean. They knew that we were listening to Tally Hall, but they didn't know that Hidden in the Sand was part of their catalogue until it came on. They have heard the song plenty of times before on Tik Tok, but never realized that the song was made by the band I liked.
@@JacobConklin okay

why does everyone turn to zubin at the beginning
Excellent video, but I feel like it’s missing something
Something not that long
Like, something around… 15 seconds
bro the ratio quality of content / number of subscriber is unholy what the heck
Haha, thank you, I just started making videos in this style, but it takes a lot of work, (idk how people like Jargon upload as often as they do). Thanks for the support!
O hi, fellow ASU attending Tally Hall fan
YOOOOOO, Hayden and I have been trying to find more Tally Hall fans on ASU campus, glad to see there are more than just us lol. Feel free to say hi if you see me on campus 🙂 (however unlikely that may be)
@@JacobConklin Very unlikely since I stopped in 2020 and I'm going back next year (took an extended break), but definitely!
hey i want to get into michigan university how hard was it to get in
Actually I don't go to University of Michigan, I go to Arizona State, but I looked it up and U of M only has a 25% acceptance rate, so it's decently difficult to get in.
U of M was only brought up because that's where the members of Tally Hall went
@@JacobConklin oh ok thanks 🙏
u never said how tally hall is tied to riklax and rob cantor
