      Tristan Burton The problem has been building for decades. The biggest issue is the lack of building of affordable housing. The other big issue is that our government doesn’t include housing as part of official inflation. If that’s the case the federal reserve would set interest rates much higher putting downward pressure on housing.

      California's state and local government are the ones to blame, California was booming and good place to live when Pete Wilson was Governor and that was back in the 90's. Ever since he left office California became trash and then came Arnold who made the deficit worse and with Newsome giving illegals free medical care out of California's tax payers money the state will head for rock bottom. If the state would stop giving out handouts to illegals and start caring for American residents of California by creating jobs and making it affordable for us to live if they did that we wouldn't have this discussion. Americans should be priority number 1 not illegals.

    • @sergiofigueroa9311
      @sergiofigueroa9311 Před 2 lety +2

      There are not 1000s' of laws. It's homeowners who are against building high-density housing in L.A. Most of L.A. is zoned for low-density, single-family housing. Homeowners are the ones who have stopped the government from re-zoning large areas of the city to allow middle- and higher-density housing, thus relieving the housing crunch. If it was truly in the hands of the city, the housing crisis would have been fixed a long time ago.

    I realize that there are people who are now out on the streets that are mentally challenged, that needs to be addressed. People who cannot help themselves need help, but I hear and even saw in my area the closure/closures of mental health facilities, thus putting the owness on the family and or themselves to provide for themselves. There is enough land in these areas for mini homes, a mini home would be something like a studio apartment, but smaller with heat, water and electricity. Those occupants would have to commit to community service, such as painting, cleaning the streets, landscaping the roadsides in order to live in them. This would build self esteem, as well as show to the community that there are indeed hireable. The ones that are not able to provide any worth to the community should be taken care of in a mental health center. If we can spend billions upon billions of dollars on sending someone to mars, then I think that we could spend that money here as well in cleaning up our country. Don't even tell me that our country could not afford this, look at the amount of money that one stealth bomber cost, almost 1 billion dollars. Decrease the amount of military bases we have all around the world and start spending that money here at home on the less fortunate.

      People in the whole U.S. who are U.S. citizens need to find on GOOGLE who is running the cities and the states in the U.S. I believe many mayors in the U.S., especially in CA, PA and others are DEMOCRATS. We need people in government who care about it's citizens, not people who are very excellent at putting up a front, but if you check on GOOGLE for their PLATFORM and their RECORDS, you find out they are VERY EXTREMELY EVIL AND VERY PASSIONATELY DIABOLICAL. No country, state, county, city or town needs HYPOCRITES AND SUPER SICKOS in positions of government. We have people in government who love a very high rate of taxes, jobs disappearing from the midst to somewhere else out of the country. They love ABORTION and INFANTICIDE and POVERTY and HOMELESSNESS. Why they don't want the wall, because they want ILLEGAL immigrants and ILLEGAL DRUGS to come into the U.S.. They HATE ISRAEL and the CHURCH. The cause as to why they do not want homeowners to have weapons is not really to avoid school shootings and other shootings but it's so that thugs could break in their houses and kill the people living in those houses and the homeowners cannot defend themselves or the people living in those houses who are in almost every case, their wives and kids. They love a WEAK ECONOMY and a WEAK MILITARY. They love SECULAR HUMANISM taught in the schools. They love illegal drugs running in our cities, subberbs, towns and schools. They love CHAOS running wild in our entire country. WHEN WE VOTE, WE NEED TO MAKE SURE WE DO NOT VOTE FOR SUPER EVIL DIABOLICAL SICKOS LIKE THAT. Now many of them want SOCIALISM in this country knowing what's going on in VENEZUELA. THEY......ARE......EVIL!!!! We cannot vote for them. WE CANNOT EVER VOTE FOR THEM. LET US VOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE GOD FEARING PEOPLE WHO HAVE HIGH MORALS, VALUES, PRINCIPLES AND COMMON SENSE. PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT RACIST, CLASSIST, MACHO OR FEMINIST. LET US VOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY AND HAVE A PLATFORM AND A RECORD THAT SHOWS THEY CARE ABOUT IT'S CITIZENS.

For example why ship out job to China when we can teach our own people how to make those products. Also teach them how to pick fruits and veggies.

When you show up there out of the blue with no job or family/friend network, you end up on the streets. Homeless people from all around flock to LA as well because the weather is so nice. I know that if I was homeless in an area where it gets super cold, I'm panhandling a few bucks for a bus ride to LA.
