    I remember him well. I was at school in the 1970's, he was often in the news in the west, as were Carter and Reagan. He does a lot of 'kissing' other men, must be a Russian tradition! I wonder if he ever kissed Maggie Thatcher who was my prime minister !!

A z okupace bych vinil jiné.

      During the invasion, Soviet paratroopers captured Dubcek and other reformers, flew them to Moscow bound in chains, interrogated and mistreated them for days. Brezhnev knew all of this. Ludvík Svoboda, the Czech president, met the Soviet Leader and said he would shoot himself in front of Brezhnev unless the reformers were released. Brezhnev is said to have peed himself.

    The communism represent a dark period in the history of the world. Still some idiots want it back despite it just bring poorness, misery, abuse, and many negative things. The modern socialism is the same thing. Capitalism is the only way, is not perfect of course, but is a system according with the human behavior.

    • @robertpolanco1973
      @robertpolanco1973 Před 7 lety +10

      With all due respect, capitalism is NOT always the only way. A system like that has NOT eliminated poverty as a whole. Socialism or Communism is NOT always so negative. Either ideology is NOT always perfect. YOUR comment is laughable and also pathetic.

    • @TheLocalLt
      @TheLocalLt Před 5 lety +1

      Robert Polanco the goal of society is not to eliminate poverty or inequality, it’s to provide a fair set of rules which people can either sink or swim playing by. After generations of course this leads to growing inequality, but this is inevitable. Tomorrow’s rich will be 100 times richer than today’s rich, but tomorrow’s poor will be just as poor as today’s poor. To attempt to change this is futile and unnatural. Some things about life just suck and cannot be changed. The rich will never give up their money willingly, and any candidate who seriously threatens to redistribute it will be smeared until they have no chance to win.
