I was actually having this conversation with my friend early about how as a society we need to normalise spending time alone :) as people we spend so much of our time with our friends and family and significant other, caring about them, worrying about them that we sometimes forget to care of ourselves and cater to our own needs :) with that being said I would like to thank you for always reminding me to take time for myself and to have a self care day or a solo date because I deserve to treat myself

I feel the same way. I love being alone. But I love being social too. If I spend too much time alone I start to get shy and a little introverted. So I force myself to get out with the people. So I shoot pool 2 nights a week.
