- Today I'm showing you how you can easily add patterns to your designs in Figma.
This technique will allow you to create some really interesting designs as you will be able to apply these patterns not only to your background and chart elements but pretty much to any element that you want to design in Figma.
As always if you want to follow along or just download the patterns that I created, make sure to create your Free uxlab.academy account.

Man, I was looking for this for so long, thank you so much!
Your welcome! Happy to hear that you found it useful!
Which design system did you use?
Very helpful video 🎉
I've been looking for a good way to do this. Thank you!
Thank you! It helped me.
I tired this but it has scaling side effect when zoom in and out quickly you can see grid element growing or shrinking.
That's interesting, I have't been able to replicate that...you mean when you're zooming in the grid becomes bigger?
@@DennisLeoca Yes. Before settling down. I used it for section not frame.
Very tricky! Thanks for sharing this.
Glad to hear it helped 😉

@@DennisLeocaJust curious, are you working as a freelancer or are you working for a company and why?
Hey! It's funny you asked that because I'm currently making a video on the very same topic 😅. I'll cover all the details there, discussing the pros and cons of each career path. But to answer your question, I've been working as a freelancer for most of my career. I prefer freelancing because I love the freedom and challenges it offers.
@@DennisLeoca Ah what a coincidence! Cool, I am curious for the video
Does this work using variables?
Haven’t tried it yet, but that is a very good question!
😘
