Merry Christmas everyone! We hope you all have a very blessed Advent and Christmas season!
Here is our version of the classic Christmas Song, "Carol of the Bells." We hope you enjoy it:)
My brother arranged the piece. My family sang it.
Please no bad language in the comments. We want this to be family friendly:)
Lyrics:
O Sapientia quae exore
altissimi prodidisti
Hark! how the bells
sweet silver bells
All seem to say
throw cares away.
Christmas is here
bringing good cheer
To young and old
meek and the bold
Ding, dong, ding, dong
that is their song,
With joyful ring
all caroling
One seems to hear
words of good cheer
From everywhere
filling the air
O, how they pound
raising the sound
Oer hill and dale
telling their tale
Gaily they ring
while people sing
Songs of good cheer
christmas is here!
Merry, merry, merry, merry christmas!
Merry, merry, merry, merry christmas!
On, on they send
on without end
Their joyful tone
to every home
Hark! how the bells
sweet silver bells
All seem to say
throw cares away.

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope you all have a very blessed Advent and Christmas season! Here is our version of the classic Christmas Song, "Carol of the Bells." We hope you enjoy it:)
Hey! And why is the image of the icon of the RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN CHURCH? 🤨
YOU MADE A MISTAKE!☝️👑🧐
You should do a version of Oh heavens rain from above (Maranatha). There is a version in gregorian chant that fits your style
When you make a song, how can we don't like it?
Merry Christmas!!
@@edvard-zerone-nigma orthodoxy dominates not only in russia, but also in other countries in eastern europe, so they did not make a mistake. God bless
The Latin chant at the opening of the song is simply DIVINE.
I love this song for how it's always just ominous and dark-toned, even though the lyrics are trying to go cheerful and happy.
Fun fact: this song is originally polish. The lyrics we're used to are heavily christianized. The original lyrics are really interesting
@@christincrounse4629 not polish, the song is originally an Ukrainian folk chant called "Shchedryk"
@@annafirnen4815 apologies, you are right . My brain must have glitched
How is it dark and ominous? It's got power to it, glorious power seeping with energy and strength. It's easily my favorite Christmas song.
@@andrewspears8891the pace really causes a tone of anxiety/anticipation and that something (Christmas) is coming and is already upon you. It makes you want to hurry to get ready.
It's difficult for me to find a version of this Carol that I really like. I must say this is my favorte of all that I've heard!
If you like creepy things you could search for: Carol of the old ones
One of my very favorites (which is without a doubt due to the fact it's melt with the Game of Throne theme) is Game of Bells from L.E.J.
Really different style though
If you haven't tried Samuel Kim's Carol of the Bells - Epic version, give that one a try.
Sharm's cover is quite haunting, although it does change the lyrics (Carol of the Elves)
Try the barra MacNeils they are my all time favourite go to Carol of the bells my to me they second to none
I imagine medieval knights and squires singing this around a fire in some splendid hall. Merry Christmas and thank you for this beautiful rendition 🎄
A song that makes me feel the love of Christ and also have a panic attack.
Seriously, this song sounds like a monster is chasing me.
Not just this cover, every cover.
One of my favorite songs covered by one of my favorite bands, the first seconds already kill me🥰
MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS CAROL!!!!
I've only listened to 100+ versions of this and this was the FIRST time I heard the lyrics "Verily they sing/Jesus is King". LOVING IT
Hello there, how are you, hope everything is well with you and your family?
I was literally just watching Viriliter Agite when j got the notification, wow! I love the icon as an Orthodox Christian. God bless you guys! Merry Christmas! ☦️🙏
If there's anything Clamavi De Profundis knows how to do it's making epic Christmas music. Amazing as always CDP 🙌
I discovered this channel through the Christmas carols, and now I finally get to listen to one when it's fresh. And the most intense Christmas carol of all, too!
Que hermoso!!! Mas canciones de navidad por favor!!
This is a very climatic song for christmas. The climax of all creation, expressing the joy that the King ha brought us, while the darker tone reminds of our past and our nature. Joy to the world!
Oh dang y’all! Been listening to y’all for 2 years now, and you guys have never failed to make a great song! God bless, and merry Christmas.
Thank you for your performance of the adapted version of the 💙💛 Ukrainian folk song - "Carol of the Bells" is a popular Christmas carol, with music by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych in 1914 and lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky. The song is based on the Ukrainian folk chant "Shchedryk".
In this difficult time for the Ukrainian people, it is very pleasant to hear it in your strong performance.
Hello there, hope everything is well with you and your family?
We stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Ukraine for resisting. Be strong!
Love from Italy. I hope new year bring you all peace and liberty.
Вы променяли Христа на папу римского, и перуна. Это уже не ваша культура. В ваших храмах теперь пируют язычники и наркоманы.
this is one of the most epic Carrols, so when I saw you'd done a version I was sure it'd be awesome.
particularly love the way it starts acapella, then the bell comes in later around the third repeat, though it would've been nice to hear the bases get the tune for once.
This I think is tied with the version of the carrol of the bells sung by the London choir Libera for a personal favourite recording of this carrol.
I'll be looking forward to seeing what other festive stuff you come up with, ever considered Caccini's ave maria? Very different to the schubert one you usually hear, and something I think you would do a fantastic job with.
Either way thanks for another great edition to your festive catalogue.
@dark tenor... Yes, I second the motion: the Caccini/Vavilov Ave Maria is both beautiful and tinged with sadness; would be perfect for Clamavi!
Definitely the best version of this song I've ever heard - blow everyone away once again! Thank you for helping us continue to focus on WHAT is most important in this Vale of Tears, & WHY, in the most delightful way!
The more I listen to your song, the more respect I have for the singers. That's an incredible performance. Thanks again for your Christmas gift, from a year one fan.
The days grow cold and dark as winter comes, in these years where strife seems to know no end in this world plagued by disease and unjust wars, and yet still we sing. Still we remember the birth of the babe whose sacrifice would redeem all of humanity.
Sing, O freedom, sing in the century-old melodies of a nation under threat of extermination. Sing, O free world, united in solidarity for the sake of all who wish to live their lives in peace. For once more we celebrate.
It's Christmas.
This is why you guys are my favourite. A merrily season to you all
after all these years i have yet to hear a song from your group that i have not enjoyed they are all AWESOME songs.
Merry Christmas to all of you and God bless.
Excellent. Most Excellent. God Bless all of you. Christ is King 🤴 ❤️
Every month I await the incredible compositions of Clamavi De Produndis! This was incredible! This way more upbeat than Coventry Carol - I listened to that song for endless hours. It was my favourite song!
Christmas masterpiece
My favorite Christmas carol from y'all is still "God rest ye merry gentlemen", but this one is a pretty close second.
One of my favorite Christmas carols
By far the best version of this song
Merry merry merry merry Christmas and God bless you all!!!
I swear, for the last couple of years, you guys have made some of my favorite Christmas songs. Thanks for yet another great addition to the Holiday playlist!
✨Exemplary!✨ Pristine tone, energizing spirit, fine-tuned rendition.... Most of all, I love the family arrangement-feels like we can all join in!🔔🔔🔔
Fun Fact: both the icon used for the image in the video and the style of singing they used to sing the Latin in the beginning is also used in Orthodox liturgy.
This is really delightful. I'm glad I can continue to expand my CDP Christmas album.
Thank you so much for this wonderful Christmas gift! May the Lord bless you and your family with many blessings this Christmas season. 🥰
Beautiful clarity and tone! Wonderful job, as always-- I got chills. 🥰 And I love the nonstandard lyrics. Thank you!!
Your performances of Christmas songs are second to none!
On the cusp of December I discovered this delicious rendering of Carol of the Bells, comforting as warm homemade bread and as exhilarating as an exquisite dessert, creating a parallel associating to peace and joy, the very essence of a truly wonderful Christmas. This is my favorite Christmas song of all time, the one I dreamed of singing, and learned to sing and to hear it in all its majesty and beyond is a real gift, thank you all for the time to create this amazing song! It was worth it! And a very merry Christmas to you too!
A delight. Great carol + great group = great music.
Finally a Good version of this song on youtube. I‘ve waited too long for this.
Thank you so much for this masterpiece.
Merry Christmas! Always a joy to see what you pick each year.
I love the reference to Louise Hohman’s “Ring Christmas Bells” you added in the last round. I wish you had added more of the lyrics! Thank you for the song and well done!
You all deserve to play in stadiums for how amazing this sounds. 🎄
Did not know that my favorite Christmas Carol could slap any harder. Thank you very much for sharing this with us.
My favorite Christmas song, finally done properly, thank you so much!
Spotify tells me I listened to your music for 3717 minutes this year, looking forward to next years songs.
I would love to hear this with a handbell choir providing accompaniment
I second that
1:48 That modulation tho 🔥🔥🔥
Best rendition of one of the best Christmas songs!
A merry Christmas indeed!
Merry Christmas boys and gals.
Ave Maria!
Vivat Christus Rex!
I always remember this as, that one creepy chrismas song, and I love it. Great work!
need more real Christmas music like this
Wonderful! I hope you have a blesséd Advent and a merry Christmas as well!
I felt this in my heart bigtime. Christ is King!
Oh, thank You. I do appreciate it.
Ukrainians have always been very creative and talented people.
"Shchedryk" (Ukrainian: Щедрик, from Щедрий вечiр, "Bountiful Evening") is a Ukrainian shchedrivka, or New Year's song, known in English as "The Little Swallow". It was arranged by composer and teacher Mykola Leontovych in 1916... Hmm... not too long ago... 💙💛❤️🖤🎄⭐️
He arranged a folk song, which is believed to have been known even in pagan times in Ukraine, i.e. about a thousand years ago
It's always wonderful to find out which new Christmas song will come out every Christmas. Another wonderful choice!
Never got tired of these voices, and its Christmas again so we get another Christmas song from my favorite singers.
This is almost haunting, like the ghosts of Christmas. Love it!
PERFECT SONG
Always glad to have more Christmas songs from you!
What I love about this song is that it does feel like an epic song, which is more suitable for the birth of God into sacrifice, than other more calm and underwhelming musical Christmas pieces. The birth of Christ is a divine moment, joyful because he had come to save us, sorrowful because of the torment and sacrifice he endured to deliver us. This song captures this duality. Ave Christus Rex 👑✝️
Yay, new release from my favourite music group!
I look forward to learn to sing this song, as I have loved to learn to sing all your other songs!
Merry Christmas to you! Also, happy almost 300k!
This cover is now my favorite!
Love all your work, truly. But your christmas song really are on a whole other level.
The way your voices gather together for a crescendo of beauty is awe-inspiring. Your songs have been a blessing to my life. Thank you for the best version and most beautiful rendition of Carol of the Bells. May you day be blessed and happy holidays!
this will be my christmas for this year!
Thank you ^^
Thank you guys for putting out another Christmas classic! Being at University has meant I couldn't participate in a lot of Advent traditions like singing 'Come oh Come Emmanuel' on Advent Sundays, so this has really helped me get in the spirit in preparation for going home for Christmas!
Wow I thought I didn't like this song. Turns out I just needed to hear you guys sing it 🤣 thanks for this, Merry Christmas 🎄
This is such a great version of Carol of the Bells! This makes me really want you to do something similar with Shchedryk, since that's the song Carol of the Bells was taken from. Always excited when you guys post a new video!
I can't wait until its downloadable
Beautiful! Merry Christmas!
Hello Samantha, how are you, hope everything is well with you and your family?
Incredible job! Thank you all so much for sharing this with us.
Incredible carol and singing, I heard the music before, but never the full version. Blessed Advent and merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
Great work, thanks!
I love this song. Great version, thanks a lot!
This is by far the best version of this I have ever herd. This is also one of my favorite songs. Thank You for this.
I would snuff out entire galaxies for Do You Hear What I Hear
Wow, thank you for making my day! Kudos to you for recording such a great rendition of this song!
One of my favorite carols from my favorite singers!! Awesome!!
when you make the naughty list one too many times and Santa Claus climbs down your chimney with boxing gloves on
I love to sing along with your songs, and boy this one is fun. As a non singer, talk about a workout! im sweating halfway through every time.
As December approaches every year, I look forward to the Christmas carol covers on this channel, and this one didn't disappoint!
Nice to actually understand the lyrics for a change
Wonderful version of the famous Christmas carol. I loved it, also the absence of music and only the ringing of the bell is a true delight. I've enjoyed a lot. Thanks you so much.
Absolutely beautiful!!
I always look forward to your Christmas music every year!
Beautiful as always! Have a blessed Advent!
Wonderful.😊
My absolutely favorite carol from high school choir, thank you so much. So satisfying.
i've thought of this for so long, and here i am!!
Beautiful ✝️
Your Christmas songs are truly epic. This one ranks right up there with your unrivaled Good King Wenceslas (throwing a shout out to that masterpiece). Best Carol of the Bells I've heard.
As always very much appreciated! This may not be my favorite Christmas song, but it is an excellent version that I'm happy to add to my collection and Christmas playlist. Always looking forward to your new posts, thanks so much!
Ah yes. Right on time!
I feel like if I ask insistently enough for an adaptation of "Falalalalanlera", I will eventually at least get an answer.
Keep up the awesome work!
Was waiting for a new drop.
Well done all involved.
Thank you for this song it excellent! Merry Christmas all
Best version by far! Cheers and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Good grief, makes me feel like I'm in the medieval era listening to this. Well done!
