Lou Reid’s funkiness as a bass player doesn’t get the credit it deserves.

I recorded this song off the radio on the night it was originally broadcast, over WAMU in Washington D.C.!
I still have that original "Radio Shack" Casette tape too, though it probably has very few playing hours left, before "Self-Destructing!" LOL!!!
Had no idea that someone would eventually post this here, on CZcams, but I'm so glad you did, as I left my tape collection with my folks, when I moved from WVa. to Washington state, in 2013, and it's SO GOOD to hear this again!
On one last, rather humorous note, sounds like Side 1 of your tape ran out a little sooner than mine did!
I believe mine ran out in the middle of the final chorus of that same song: "How Long Have I Been Waiting For You," and after flipping it over, I caught the last bit of the vocals, & then Terry's "closing remarks" on the banjo!
Funny I should remember that, but I do!! Guess it goes to show the COUNTLESS times I re-listened to this GREAT DL&Q show over & over thru the years and have SO "recorded" in my memory!! LOL!!! :-)

Just wondering, but why doesn't this one have the song names and band members? They're all mentioned, as far as I listened, and the few that aren't were easy enough to find. I tried starting a list of it, but I gave up after I accidentally lost all my progress... Twice!
