- This explore was me and The Bearded explorer as we venture into what we first thought was an abandoned hotel but once inside we discovered possessions of a family that once lived inside this 10 bedroom mansion but seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth. Some rooms were still full of designer clothes such as Versace and Gucci, diamond rings and jewels.

so this place is where my wife and i got married. it used to be a pub called the rose and crown and a also a b&b. we got hitched here back in 2009 and the young couple who ran it were really nice and did a very cool job but lack of business finally hit them and the pub shut down. across the road from the pub were a row of houses and the people who lived in the houses used to moan constantly about the noise from functions and this made the staying open pretty impossible.
the room you entered with the draped
curtains on the ceiling was where we had our
live band and dance area. the rooms before that was the pub area.
strange to see it like that as we have fond memories when it was the pub….
Hi everyone, I watched the video and was really interested in finding out what actually happened. The previous owner of this house bought a pub and converted it into a big house for his family but unfortunately died a few years later moving in. He was a young businessman with multiple businesses. It's very sad that the family lost their son, brother, husband and father...I wish the family all the best in life and hopefully their live is better now after this tragedy.
This place used to be a hotel/restaurant and wedding venue. I was the assistant manager here. Interesting to see how much it has changed over the years.

Wow loving the kitchen, amazing find... I'm gonna go with witness protection maybe? 🤔 It's a bit sad when you see the kids toys and things, but that kitchen is big enough to have a club night in 😆💯🎶🔊 well done guys 👍

I used to work here, it was called the Rose & Crown. I’m pretty sure Saudi’s bought it! Moved all their super cars in, did some changes and then abandoned it! I drive past every day.

Interesting viewing. As a local I'm pleased to say that, as of February 2023, this vacant property has now been properly secured and is being sold.
i saw some where that the father of the family went back to his native country for treatment for cancer and that they plan to come back when he is recovered.
lots of people told me that the guy actually passed away

I believe this house belongs to a rich middle Eastern family. Someone told me that they usually leave everything behind when they transferred to a new house especially if they believed that the house gave them bad luck.
He was actually my mums cousin. He died about 6 years ago. It's a long story but the building has evil spirits. I use to go it plenty of times. He had 2 dogs that use to always bark and howl.

Wow! Wish I had all the money they blew on all that stuff! Good find! Very sorry to hear of the Queen’s passing. I admired her, she was a great ruler and a horsewoman, which was my favorite thing about her.

I definitely got an Asian family vibe from the place, I wonder if they had to leave the country for some strange reasons, they certainly had some money to burn on stuff that's for sure.

according to the internet, the mother murdered the father and went to jail for it. The two daughters inherited multiple homes from their father. They probably don't know that this house exists.

They are Pakistani. They are my relatives. The man died (my uncle) and his family went through a bad time and no longer live there.
It would be easy to just live there 8f it's abandoned. Everything works

I never dreamed that there were all these lovely houses around the country with nobody living there, just going derelict. It's crazy.
Family home with young children, some money (not that much tho) but not much class. If the power/water are still on some1's paying the bills still for it but it's not being looked after. 10:16 - nice music.

He was related to me. Owner died about 6 years ago. Long story with rest of the family. Property had bad vibes. His dogs always use to howl and bark at night. I went to feed them when he was out of town and the dogs felt uneasy like there was a bad presence.

The owner ran franchises for a very well known restaurant. He hadn't been busted at all. He died and seems to have done a lot of charity work.
